Jennifer Leffler is an exceptional Lawyer. The best Lawyer in Northern Virginia! Let me Start by saying Jennifer WON another case. I had an arrest last year for a DUI. A friend of mine, who had won a case with Jennifer recommended her. During our first meeting, Jennifer was extremely professional and attentive to my deserved outcome of the case. Jennifer immediately made me comfortable showing her knowledge by explaining various approaches and outcomes for my case. Jennifer did not set any false expectations to the outcome. Jennifer was so prepared for the trail that she was ready for all angles that the prosecutor try to maneuver toward. This illustrated to me the dedication that Jennifer has toward her clients. Laila Raheen was the lawyer who handled my divorce case at Livesay & Myers. My first meeting with her was my initial consultation regarding my case. She explained what the divorce process in Virginia involved, as well as allowed me to ask questions regarding my case. I came out of that first meeting having a very good feeling about her and decided to hire her that day. I liked that she was professional, very smart and not easily shaken by events or circumstances, just the lawyer I wanted! She clearly explained the divorce process and was very patient with me, as well as all of my questions. Laila explained things to me in terms that I could understand, as a person without a legal background. She was also very responsive to my emails/calls, always responding within a day or two. She also did a great job communicating with opposing counsel and worked through all of the nonsense to focus on the end goal, my divorce. Another important factor about my experience with Livesay & Myers was the billing. I felt like the expenses for my case were fair and reasonable. When I received my monthly bills it was clear what had been worked on and how much I was charged, that really put my mind at ease.
