First and foremost, all praise and thanks belongs to God Almighty. Mr. Dearborn, is a very kind and plan Attorney. He's very responsive and committed, and wants the best result for its clients and through by God Almighty he was able to achieve that. Like many of Robert's clients, I have a need for speed. I was ticketed for 25+ over the speed limit aka "reckless-speeding" faced jail time, license suspension, and heavy fines. I received a number of targeted direct mail pieces and Mr. Dearborn's stood out for being simple. I did some further research and narrowed my options to 4 possible attorneys (no way you are beating a ticket like this without one). After a no response from 2 options and a phone-tag to no response from the other I decided to go with Robert here is why. 1. Responsiveness and Free consultation - Not only was I was able to reach Robert on my first call. The free consultation was informative - Robert alerting me to steps needed for a better go in court if I wanted to represent myself (get your speedometer calibrated and take a certified drivers safety course) 2. Price - Robert's flat rate (which is the lowest among Fairfax Traffic attorneys) was a huge selling point - everyone else was quoting 850-975 for representation, I think Robert got me in around $600 - which was god sent. 3. Results - *Based on my driving history, the first time offender clause in VA reckless speeding law, and the ticketing officer - Robert was able to negotiate my ticket down to a +250 fine with no reckless speeding without me needing to step a foot in COURT. Don't kid yourself Robert Dearborn Attorney at law is THE CHOICE if you have a big moving violation to deal with, don't have a wretched past with traffic violations, and don't want to spend time in court trying to represent yourself. Mr. Dearborn was very helpful with my reckless driving case. He told me what steps to take, and I followed through. In the end all I had to pay was a $75 fine and the points were reduced drastically. I also did not have to show up in court. Money well spent. Although I hope I do not have to seek counsel again for this, I would definitely call him if I had to go through this again. One key factor, I didnt have to show up to court and this was handled in my absence.

Well, I'd not gotten a speeding ticket in well over 10 years but one faithful morning my luck ran out. I got a doozy and needed legal intervention to sooth my bruised ego, (lol) That is where Robert Dearborn comes into the picture. I searched the web for an attorney that handles traffic violations but would not break the bank. SURE he is a bit more than the other flat rate attorney I was considering BUT Robert had one major thing in his favor GREAT REVIEWS. He maintained contact through out the entire process and responded to my initial website inquiry super fast. His background in this area is UNMATCHED. When we spoke on the phone he asked about the situation assessed it and then immediately came up with a plan to minimize or completely exonerate me from this event. RESULT: He kept my driving record clean as a bell. Ya sure, I had to pay a fine but it is what it is and besides the fine it did not break the bank by any means. After all travelling 23 miles OVER the speed limit has to come with some sting. My ultimate goal was maintaining a clean driving record and that is exactly what I got - a spotless driving record. My total cost for the Attorney, Fine, and court costs was about $950 - $990. No 3 - 5 year insurance increases and no damage to my driving record, money well spent. I was not pleased with his service. I was asked to spend an additional $155 for him not to use the evidence (calibration, traffic school, and clean driving record) produced to get the case dismissed or reduced. That was on top of his $750 fee not including court cost/fines $344. Overall over $1,200 wasted for the same points charged AND 10 day suspension. I could have kept that money and pleaded guilty without those costs. Not from Virginia so really didn't understand the gravity of the charge, but I guess in the end shouldn't have did the crime.
