The attorney failed to clearly explain the charges and guide us through the process. Update, July 2022: This 'experienced' attorney failed to ask me if the police told me about my rights, that is, to remain silent and to have the counsel of an attorney. The police did NOT advise me of my rights, even though they termed my apartment a 'crime scene' and treated me like a criminal. I fully cooperated with the police. Additionally, the police told the magistrate that I had been drinking. Yet, the police never gave me a sobriety test. Mr. Hicks never questioned why they did not and never asked my anything about the police accusation that I had excessively used alcohol. In fact, I was fully sober and cooperative. As far as his 'why 8 years later?', the old saying, 'better late than never' applies. Like the proverbial elephant. we don't forget. Stay away from Mr. Hicks.

We came to Mr. Grimes with a home based business situations that started out as "basic" and ended up becoming anything but.
