We would like to thank Muhammad Elsayed for the exceptional service he provided in representing our son during a very difficult time. Our son was facing serious drug charges with tremendously stiff penalties. Muhammad was extremely efficient and prepared at each stage of this process. He thoroughly researched the case and communicated with clarity and directness. He made sure we understood the legal complexities without feeling overwhelmed. Muhammad demonstrated genuine kindness, compassion and concern for our son’s well-being. This was a challenging time for our family. With Muhammad’s help, support, professionalism and patience he was able to have a number of enhancements dropped and achieved the best possible outcome for our son. We were impressed with Muhammad’s expertise, wisdom and law knowledge. Muhammad truly cares for not only his client but their family as well. Thank you Muhammad for helping our son and helping us get through this most stressful time. Margaret and I highly recommend Muhammad Elsayed and the staff at Elsayed Law Firm to anyone needing legal representation. Rick and Margaret F.

My family hired Elsayed Law for a criminal case, and we had the privilege of working with Mr. Muhammad Elsayed. Mr. Elsayed was honest, diligent, articulate, knowledgeable, and effective. But perhaps the thing that impressed us the most about Mr. Elsayed is that nothing was "sugar-coated." He was very straightforward and told us what to expect each step of the way, informing us of all the options, along with the corresponding risks as well as potential benefits. There were no empty promises made just to keep the client happy, which I know sometimes occurs when seeking counsel. He was a beacon of hope to my family at a time when our options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed nearly impossible. Not only was he able to defend our family member from an unjust accusation, his calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional support to our entire family; we are eternally grateful for his service and would highly recommend his firm to anyone seeking legal assistance.

A preliminary protective order entered against me and was extended for another 2 weeks. I had a court date where the judge would decide if the protective order shall last for two years or not!!! The protective order included my business car and children custody!!! I might be ending in a situation of paying for my house two years without living in, lose my business car and hence my job, being suspicious to the police officers if stopped by any chance as a trouble maker person, hard to see my beloved kids, and has no leverage in the divorce settlements. Despite the short time I had for the court date, a meeting was scheduled promptly with Mr. El-Sayed where he was attentive to every and each word, writing down everything and answering all questions and concerns. Very organized with ideas and options. He prepared me even for the trial with the questions that may be asked. I felt he is a friend and not a lawyer. The judge dismissed the protective order without any condition. He really saved my life.

I was charged with a Drunk in Public and Identity Theft. Months ago I found someone social security card in a parking lot and I tried to find the guy who lost it but he never returned my messages to him. Fast forward a few months later I get arrested for a drunk in public and the cop found the social security card and charged me with Identity theft (ridiculous). Muhammad Elsayed was very professional and kept in constant communication. He got both of those charges completely dropped. I was very relieved. Highly recommended.

OVERVIEW: The purpose of my review is to describe why Muhammad was the right attorney for me. For that reason, the discussion is less about the case itself and more about my thought process throughout the experience. MY LEGAL SITUATION: I needed to hire an attorney for the 1st time in my life, facing a criminal charge for speeding in VA. For the DC/MD/VA/PA area, it seems VA is the 1 odd place that enforces their traffic laws very differently from the other 3. VA is where your average office professional w/ a clean record (e.g., no drug use, minding your own business, good credit, etc.) could face an actual criminal charge, just for speeding 20+ mph speed limit. MY CONCERN ABOUT THE CASE: Per the officer, I was required to appear at court (i.e., simply mailing in a payment wasn’t an option). Being charged w/ the crime could affect my future career prospects. Stepping into this new territory, I knew I could rely only on my gut/intuition in choosing the right attorney. MY MEETING W/ MUHAMMAD: At my 1st meeting w/ him, I could see that he was a good all-around attorney (not just an expert in certain legal areas). He’s a good balance of left-brain thinking (logical/objective) and people skills (very personable). I had tons of questions for him, yet he listened to them well and provided me w/ complete, objective answers. I also liked that he didn’t evaluate just my legal case, but he evaluated me as a whole person by asking various questions about my background. The “whole person” approach is important for any defense case (traffic or not) because in my opinion, the court still has “traditional values.” Example: He asked me to gather documentation for my prior military service & volunteer work because, if anything, those things would help w/ my case by showing that I’ve contributed to society. THE DECIDING FACTOR: Half-way into my initial meeting with Muhammad, I’d already decided that he’s a good attorney, but I still wasn’t 100% sure, until this one thing happened: His assistant interrupted our meeting. Based on their brief convo, it sounded like she’s asking him to step away from the meeting for a sec. His response to her was something along the lines of, “I can’t deal with this right now.” That was the moment I knew (subconsciously) “This is my lawyer” because this tells me that he treats each client w/ the same level of respect, irrespective of how small/big the case is (i.e., mine was a small traffic case generating less $$ for the firm, plus I hadn’t paid any $$ yet!). I believe that a good defense attorney should have more than just a good education, experience, etc. b/c those “check list” items won’t produce real results unless he/she stands up for you. I admire his character, and that’s what made me trust that he’d stand up for me. CASE OUTCOME/CONCLUSION: My criminal charge was reduced to an infraction (85 mph reduced to 64 mph, for a 55 mph zone). This was my 1st charge, but it was still a precarious process because you’re dealing w/ human variables (the judge, prosecutor, officer could be having a bad day for all we know). It’s not uncommon to feel anxious while waiting for your court date, and I give much credit to Muhammad for setting my mind at ease throughout the entire process.

My son, 20 at the time and a young man with significant mental health challenges, was charged with selling a schedule II drug and two counts of attempted malicious wounding when he resisted arrest. We interviewed 3 attorneys and selected Muhammad because of his calm demeanor and his clear understanding of mental health issues within the criminal justice system. He is very professional, and his empathy towards our son was critical during the sixteen month ordeal. He and his firm (Greenspun/Shapiro) have an in-depth knowledge of the prosecutors and judges in Fairfax County - which is critical when working through a plea. Muhammad is intelligent, thoughtful and is a great communicator - both during preparatory activities as well as in the courtroom.

I was facing two years in jail for a probation violation. Muhammad is GREAT at what he does. He walked me through everything from beginning to end but also did his best to prepare me for the worst case scenario. He really gets to know his clients vs. other lawyers that just see a file. I ended up serving no time. Not even an extension on my probation. You can tell by his delivery in court that he knows what he's doing. Thank you for everything, Muhammad!

Muhammad was knowledgeable, honest and provided fantastic advice regarding my reckless driving citation that ran the risk of not only 6 points and a hefty fine but a misdemeanor on my record! With his help, we were able to get the ticket reduced to a simple speeding ticket, only 4 points and no misdemeanor! Thank you Muhammad for your time and exceptional personalized attention to my case! -Adam W.

Muhammad Elsayed, is EVERYTHING that you want in a lawyer! Point BLANK PERIOD: Muhammad Elsayed is a GREAT LAWYER! An (A+) LAWYER! If you acquire and retain Muhammad Elsayed for your case, YOU HAVE DONE THE RIGHT THING! 3 Things that you should look for in finding a lawyer, Muhammad Elsayed is a HOME-RUN on all of the 3 following things: In a Criminal Trial Lawyer you want to look for: (1): Integrity, trust, professionalism---Muhammad Elsayed has all of the aforementioned and is the epitome of the aforementioned: Muhammad works for the best possible resolution for your case or cases (cases = multiple cases in my situation). If you are guilty of what you are being charged of, you can tell Muhammad that you are guilty and he WILL STILL WORK HARD FOR you in trying to figure out what can be proved, and what can not be proved in your case. I told Muhammad of my guilt in my cases, as well as where I was innocent in my cases, and he stated that his job as an attorney was to help people that have been charged in cases whether they are guilty or innocent. He informed me that his job was to help me to get me the best possible resolution and outcome for my cases regardless of my guilt or innocence. He informed me that if I was guilty that he was STILL GOING TO HELP ME to get the best possible resolution, and if I was innocent that it was his job to help me prove that I'm innocent. Once Muhammad told me that, my RESPECT and TRUST LEVEL went up with HIM ten fold, and I knew that I was in good hands! (2): Competence, and aggressively wanting to study the details of your case in order to get you the best possible resolution: Muhammad is the epitome of the aforementioned. Muhammad dived into the discovery of my cases immediately, he was extremely competent and he knew exactly how to handle every detail and the direction that he wanted to pursue in regards to every detail. Muhammad's intelligence is off the charts! When speaking with him, I could see his mind moving a million miles per hour thinking about the best resolution and best options for my cases. He's experienced, he's competent and he knows EXACTLY how to handle your case!!! (3): Respect amongst peers and State prosecution that will be trying your case: Muhammad Elsayed again is the epitome of the aforementioned. Muhammad is a COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL, and is well respected as an attorney, amongst his peers as well as the prosecution. If Muhammad, has to speak with the State prosecution to find a best resolution to your case or cases, then you can trust that Muhammad, has the necessary respect amongst the State prosecution in order to get you the best resolution that the State prosecution is offering you. Muhammad Elsayed, I cant SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS GUY!!! Thanks MAN!!! Not only is he a good LAWYER, but he's an even BETTER PERSON!!! If his name scares you, then you are an idiot, and more than likely a racist that doesnt deserve to have someone like Muhammad Elsayed on your case! If I had to choose between Robert Shapiro, the late great Johnnie Cochran, or Muhammad Elsayed, I would CHOOSE MUHAMMAD ELSAYED EVERYTIME!!! Muhammad, you are GREAT at what you do my brother, and I hope that you achieve EVERYTHING THAT YOU SET OUT TO ACHIEVE! Hell of job in court today! Hell of job! Muhammad Elsayed---FOR PRESIDENT!!!! (no seriously if Muhammad ran for the Presidency of the United States of America, I would VOTE for him a million times!!!) Hell of a guy! Hell of a guy! And this is note a paid spokesperson, I was really Muhammad Elsayed's client and if you really want to speak to me to get further confirmation on Muhammad Elsayed then Muhammad knows how to contact me and I will back up all of what I'm saying her. Facts. While hurrying along Dulles Toll Road, late to my daughter’s birthday party, the pickup truck immediately in front of me, accelerated ahead, leaving me exposed to a WMATA Lidar operator. Charge. “Reckless … speeding,” as hand written by the officer in the Summons. Conviction of such offense entails potential $2,500 fine, 6 negative DMV driver’s points, and/or license suspension. Initial Conference with Mr. Elsayed. Throughout the initial in person interview and correspondence thereafter, Mr. Elsayed answered every question with directness and clarity, comfortably accepted his client’s every input, regardless of its relevance or helpfulness. Examples of the completeness of detail in his help included guidance on exactly where and when to find him on the court date, even what to wear to that event. Mr. Elsayed attended to these quotidian matters, despite the fact that his caseload no doubt included numerous charges far more demanding of his attention and skills than my particular case. Court Date. Mr. Elsayed was warmly greeted in the hall outside the courtroom by numerous of his fellow attorneys and court staff. Each enthused over his previous day’s courtroom success in resolving a client’s charge, which were far more serious than my own. Despite these hallway attentions, Mr. Elsayed caught my eye and indicated he would soon join me. After he conferred with the officer who had issued my summons as well as other individuals, he joined me in the hallway seating. Disposition. Declining to claim any credit for the favorable result of his pre-court appearance negotiations with the district attorney’s office, Mr. Elsayed stated that he was fortunate to deal with a “very reasonable” prosecutor. The resulting agreement to be presented by defense and prosecution to the judge entailed: $250 fine (not $2,500); negative 4 driver’s points (not negative 6); and no suspension or other similar limitation on my driver’s license. Conclusion. Due to Mr. Elsayed’s competence and care — even for a case as inconsiderable as my own — I heartily recommend the use of his services by anyone unfortunate enough to face a criminal charge.

I was charged with a very serious felony charge of malicious wounding. I faced up to 20 years in prison. I have been fighting this case for a year. I made the best decision ever when I hired Muhammad to fight for me. And he absolutely fought for me!! He prepared every detail possible and fought for me more than any other lawyer I've talked to. He took the case to a jury trial for two days. AND THE JURY CAME BACK NOT GUILTY! He was passionate and firm in defending me, and I will always be grateful for what he did for me. If you have a case where you need a fighter who will do everything possible for you, hire Muhammad and you won't be sorry.
