We recently hired PJI Law to help us with our estate planning needs. Having just bought a new home and having children in middle school and high school, it was time! Our initial meeting with Attorney Rich Phillips was very thorough and informative. We had a bunch of questions about the best way to avoid probate and protect our kids should the unthinkable happen. He was very patient with us, took the time to answer all of our questions, and gave us the pros and cons of different scenarios before letting us decide the best course of action. While we were gathering all of our documents and information needed to draft the documents, Lydia was so helpful and friendly while keeping us on track and following up with us. When the day came for us to sign the documents, which included our Wills, a Trust, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directives, PJI Law provided everything we needed, including the Notary Public and witnesses. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, almost like family. We are so glad we chose PJI Law to protect our assets and our children. Thank you!

Hello Frieds, If you have divorce case and if you think to hire the PJI law firm to work on your divorce case the guess what, you are out of luck. PJI law firm only care about money. On my divorce case PJI law firm charge the lawyer twice. Also the PJI law firm lawyer always went to opposite lawyer and spend most of the time to talk and not communicate and helping on my case in the court. Even the PJI lawyer got angry on me multiple times during my divorce case regards me to ask questions on case to understand. They stopped my witness to even show up on front of the judge so opposition party can present their witness. Over all please do not make mistake to hire this firm. Please read the reviews first. There are many other things I did not include in this post which unethical PJI law firm did in my case. Please do not falling in falls 5 star face rating about this firm. Thank you. Hi Friends, After I added above true comments, one time I received call from Paul (CEO) asking me to do free will if I remove above ratings from Google. So, I explained everything happened withe by his lawyer, and he said you should tell me then like he would listen what I have to say. He did not acknowledge even also sorry or any composition, instead remove or change the ratings on Google. Please Friends stay away from any scams now days, specially after COVID pandemic situation. No one have any money to waste. Please be careful out there. Thank you.

I had a positive experience with PJI Law, PLC while going through a divorce, which is a difficult time in itself. The entire staff was amazing and professional with every email and phone call. It seemed like things were stalling, but they were persistent in getting in touch with the other party. Afterwards, I felt like I didn't need to worry about anything. I felt assured that they were on top of things, and that I could concentrate on other issues since they had things under control. I would recommend PJI to anyone that is looking for a law firm that is persistent, courteous, and has your best interest in mind. You will not be disappointed.

I moved to the DC area from Georgia last year and had to completely redo my estate plan in the process. PJI Law and its owner Paul Abraham were highly recommended by close associates in the area. I was not disappointed for retaining PJI Law for the complex requirements of estate planning. In fact Paul and his associates simplified the process for me and were even able to reduce my costs (which were reasonable to start with anyway). Paul took a personal interest in every detail of the plan, recommended changes to benefit me, reviewed every document and kept me abreast of the status periodically. No doubt I will return to PJI Law for all my future legal requirements and no hesitation in recommending him to any of my close family and friends.

I recently found myself in the unusual situation in the Summer of 2019 of being accused by the management staff at my apartment complex of making undue noise. Specifically I was being accused of running, stomping, jumping, and chair scraping at all hours of the day and night. I explained to the management staff that the noises they were receiving complaints about were not emanating from my apartment. In fact, I told them that I too was hearing the same noises above me and around me. Suffice it to say, my protests to the management staff went unheeded and I was threatened with eviction. At this point, I was fed up and just wanted to break my lease with no penalty. I contacted Kevin Jaros at PJI Law, PLC and he was the consummate professional. As I vented to him my frustrations I found myself wanting to sue due to the unfair accusations, but he explained to me in layman's terms as to why that outcome might be unlikely and overly costly. In the end, he felt that he could get me out of the lease and explained that he could write a letter to the management staff. The one hour consultation was already costing me $350 and the letter would cost me around $1,500 for a total cost of $1,850. Kevin was very thorough in the way that he explained his cost structure and told me that he had enough substantive work that he didn't need to impose any frivolous billing on his clients. That made me feel really good, but then he did something totally unexpected. He said, "Look, Chad. Why don't you just send them an email and tell them that you want out of the lease, your deposit refunded, and no penalty. CC me on the email and make sure that they know I am cc'd on the email. Maybe they'll just let you go with no further hindrance and this way you can save a whole lot of money." I did exactly as he said and much to my surprise, the apartment complex completely acquiesced to our demands. I want to make it very clear that Kevin didn't have to tell me about the email strategy. He would have been well within his right to just pursue the letter strategy instead and bill me for that time. But he showed compassion and saved me a whole bunch of money and got me out of that ridiculous situation. I did have to bill an extra hour to navigate the final withdrawal from the lease, but paying $700 is a whole lot better than paying nearly $2,000. I would highly recommend anyone to hire Kevin Jaros at PJI Law. Kevin is highly astute with impeccable integrity.
