Tim hired Mr. Sheldon to handle his post conviction appeals and habeas case. Right away we could see his knowledge and dedication to his case. Mr. Sheldon worked tirelessly to pursue the overturning of a wrongful conviction. Post winning the habeas case, he continued to follow up and showed his true concern for an individual. Hiring Mr. Sheldon was worth it all, he gained Tim’s life back and we are forever grateful!

As an attorney, I have seen Sheldon's superlative work in dozens of case. If you hire an attorney to challenge a conviction in Virginia, they are likely to consult Sheldon or at least his authoritative treatise on post-conviction remedies. You might as well go straight to the source and hire Sheldon directly.

My son was in need of an attorney on short notice, He had a history of poor communications with other past attorneys. He was pleasantly surprised to find Jon Sheldon and his team were the opposite. Going through any legal battle is hard on the family, So having a team that is quick to provide you updates and simply do what they say they would do is invaluable. The staff made things seamless and very polite. They are worth every dollar and some. Anyone considering an attorney would be served well by this group.

In my opinion what makes a good attorney is someone who has the knowledge to do the work, dedication to go through all the way, compassion to empathize with client, and patience to walk with client through this process step by step.
