I searched high and low to retain an attorney for an out-of-state family member who unfortunately was not provided with the best legal services. It was overwhelmingly difficult to search for the appropriate attorney to retain when you do not have a clear understanding of the situation at hand, live out of state, and no one to turn to in order to weed out the legal services that best suit the person in need. Many attorneys either did not return my phone call or followed up expressing they did not practice in the area where their services would be needed. Eventually I was provided a recommendation to reach out to Carluzzo, Rochkind & Smith, in which I was further, connected to their attorney, Scott Nolan, for consultation. I was convinced to retain attorney Nolan because of his willingness to direct me to where I would need to learn the facts of the cases at hand so that I could best articulate to him what was going on. Based on the information I followed up with, he succinctly communicated the situation at hand so I could understand what was going on, what actions needed to take place given the timeline of upcoming hearings, identified potential problems in advance, and confidently expressed his expertise and credentials and how it would best serve the legal needs I presented. Reflecting on our conversation, he was the right fit and became the best legal and financial move I made. Once retained, he hit the ground running. He worked with a sense of urgency with the obstacle of holiday season surrounding a short timeline to prepare to serve. He is clear and straightforward on what he can do for you and how long it will take (it doesn't take him long). He follows up in a timely manner and made the entire process so much easier on my family because he had the best interest of his client at heart. For a case that could have taken around 5+ months of court appearances, Mr. Nolan was able to get everything squared away within a little over a month from being retained! I retained Scott Nolan's services because I thought the automatic decision for my unfortunate situation was/would be unreasonable and it would have a far-reaching impact on my future job prospects. What a great decision! First, never go to traffic court without a knowledgeable lawyer. Scott was familiar with the applicable laws, the jurisdiction where I had to appear and more importantly, what steps needed to be taken to mitigate the circumstances BEFORE I had to appear before the judge. I watched several other people in similar situations get the book thrown at them but my experience following Scott's plan delivered the positive result I needed. If I or anyone I know were in a similar situation again, I wouldn't hesitate to call or recommend Scott.

After searching through several lawyers to handle my case, I came across Mr. Nolan. Over the phone I heard the confidence in his voice and instantly sought consultation through him. He explained very clearly what was happening and what to expect. Upon our proceeding, he spoke with the opposing attorneys pre-trial with certainty and just as much confidence as he did when we first met. I could even tell the prosecuting lawyer was a bit intimidated by his presence. It was very relieving to watch him at work. During the trial, he asked very direct and hard hitting questions that weakened the prosecution. I don't endeavor in felonious activities. However, if I ever find myself in the situation I found myself in recently, I know exactly who to call. 10/10 highly recommend

I was facing DUI charges as well as Refusal of test charges and searched the Internet for a lawyer, where I found Mr. Nolan. After meeting with Scott, I was immediately relieved and could tell I was in good hands. He is well educated with the science behind what goes on with DUI charges. He fought for me and the charges were completely dismissed. He is the best, and I would recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges

Excellent lawyer. I was worried about getting a reckless ticket on my record because i have a Top Secret Clearance. He had my reckless 86 in a 65 reduced to speeding(74 in a 65). I didnt even have to take the day off to go to court either.

Scott effectively pursued a few different defense strategies until one course became the strongest. Scott was excellent on his feet on the day of court effectively negotiating a settlement that worked well for me. He did not proactively call but was always responsiveness if I inquired.
