I had been putting off getting things taken care of for years. The process always seemed too daunting and overwhelming. I am so grateful for everyone at Geller, especially Chantelle for helping me navigate the process with confidence. I really appreciate not just feeling like a billable hour, but rather a person with questions and concerns. I appreciated their patience and straightforwardness throughout the process.

I wish this review was different. Until the end of May, this review was a raving 5 star review. The process to complete our estate paperwork was well done and all went smoothly. Chantelle DiLorenzo should be specifically mentioned for her great work as the partner working with us. In March 2019, we received an email indicating final charges would be coming for the completion of our documents followed a few days later with a $1600 "final invoice" with no breakdown. I've never not paid quickly, because I used to do legal billing and understand prompt payment is appreciated. Our document signing was in early April, and I mentioned paying everything up before arriving when asked asked to confirm our wish for the documents to be filed on our behalf. No further mention of later charges. Fast forward to May 23rd (1.5 months+ after our last interaction with GLG), and I discover $800 has been taken from our bank. No invoice had been received (according to GLG they sent one- I had rec'd all others no problem, but nothing for this), no "overdue" notice for any charges, no receipt for this payment as all others had, no phone call "did you get this invoice?" before taking the funds - nothing. Just funds taken with no notice. I call GLG and get a call back from Betsy in accounting and her only explanation to taking funds with no notice was "there was an invoice and we had an ACH form." The problem is that no invoice has still ever been seen to date and my ACH form never had bank account info on it. Bottom line- they kept my banking information provided over the phone in 2018, despite instructions to call to obtain permission before any transactions, or obtained it from what was supposed to be a secure Quickbooks payment. As I've tried to explain, that if I had ever seen an invoice, OR there had ever been any apology for NO collections processes followed, I probably would have been agreeable to a compromise to resolve whatever balance they suddenly claimed existed. Instead, I've simply gotten emails with attitude from Rebecca Geller herself, trying to overlook the issue that our bank account was unethically used as an open access point vs. following any fiduciary responsibilities of proper legal billing and collections. It apparent this very serious matter has not been understood. So, after making it very clear I wouldn't accept anything less than full return of those funds, a check was supposedly sent on June 6th (I was not told about it though), so on June 20th when I had to followup yet again where my money was, their excuse for the refund not arriving was that the envelope was being returned. Again, I asked for evidence out of curiousity since I've never had a package returned from my very well established address in 8 years of living here. I never got said evidence so when I accused them of this being a stall tactic (because they also could have just called me to pick it up since they know I live 7 min from their office) and insisting on picking up my check on Monday July 1 (yes over 1 month after stealing from me), they simply agreed. So in summary, an invoice or validation of funds they claim I still owed AFTER a FINAL invoice have never yet been shown to me, funds were stolen via a misused ACH or secure online billing, and they stalled and lied to me to delay it being returned. For those who have no prior legal billing experience as I do, those are major legal ethical issues regarding billing, banking info security, and improper collections. I would hope if you choose to do business with GLG that you a) ask for Chantelle, b) watch your bank account, and c) insist on more detailed billing to verify what you are paying for. This experience has left a totally sour taste in my mouth and unfortunately this is what I'm left to share with people instead.

The Geller Law Group have assisted me with both estate planning and unexpected life events that certainly required calm, kind and expert advice. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and as a woman I would go nowhere else. It's incredibly reassuring to find a law practice one can actually trust!

Do not overlook this Law Group. My previous attorney (a well respected, highly recommended firm), completely missed removing a co-trustee from two different deeds when I revised my trust after returning from Africa in 2016! I would never had known this had it not been for the attention to detail by the attorneys in this firm. Thank you, Chantelle DiLorenz, for your attention to detail and for helping me through the process! I now have a trust that I am 100% comfortable with and I have received a valuable education in issues I need to consider!

It was time for us to prepare our Estate Planning documents but didnt' know where to begin. Luckily, our financial team referred us to the Geller Group and we are so happy we pursued them. First dealing with estate planning causes sad feelings knowing these are the decisions that go forward after we pass. We had a great pre-interview with Rebecca Geller who ensured all of our needs were addressed, and how she and her team can best develop our planned estate documentation; all the time making us very comfortable and providing suggestions we otherwise would not have known or considered. Having a sincere, focused and personable team, as the Geller team, will ease the burden and make an uncomfortable topic so much more bearable.

I needed all my estate planning documents updated and was lucky enough to find The Geller Group via a NextDoor app recommendation. Every member of the Geller team was superb. The attorneys did a superb job of explaining how a Revocable Trust works. I have much better peace of mind now that I have everything in place. All their communications were succinct. They made the will witnessing very easy. I so appreciated the assistance and thoughtful and precise work throughout the process.

I had a wonderful time working with Laurie Neff and Lauren Jancuska. They helped me through a very long stressful custody/child support battle, almost 4 years to be exact. They always knew what to do when the opposite side filed motions after motions, and I felt confident knowing I had them in court with me. My calls and emails were always promptly replied. They are passionate attorneys, and I felt that they had my best interests at heart. You can’t go wrong with choosing them to be your representative.

Ms. Myers represented my disabled son in a misdemeanor case in Fairfax and though it was a minor charge, his case required personal and careful consideration of all his circumstances to ensure he received appropriate support from the court. Ms. Myers took the time to understand the complexity of the situation and reached out to appropriate parties both within the judicial system and private professionals who had been supporting my son to ensure the judge and prosecutor had a complete picture. Ms. Myers was personally instrumental in ensuring the final ruling reflected the extenuating circumstances of his case. I'd hire Ms. Myers again and refer anyone to her for legal representation.

I called the Geller group for a help finding an attorney in Florida, I was here in Virginia. It was a very difficult time, and did not know anyone in Florida or here in Virginia and Ms. Rebecca Geller got in touch with me right away. She was professional, understanding and came up with a couple of referrals in a very short time. Christina was wonderful in assisting with my court case. Myself as someone who has no experience with attending court, she talked me through what to expect and what things to say. She also offered suggestions of how to show good intention by doing some things before the court date to help my case. She also informed me of all possible outcomes and what that would mean for me.
