I worked with Merchant Law on multiple immigration-related cases and Zain is a master at what he does. I always choose him as no other firm I've worked with gets as creative as he does. Since he mostly works independently, he really gives the attention that my cases deserve. He does get quite busy at times, so working together on a realistic timeline is important, depending on your case. Nevertheless, he has always been pretty responsive and timely. Deeba Anwari is an excellent and professional lawyer, and I am grateful to Deeba Anwari forever because she accepted my sister's case, which was refused by more than 20 lawyers. It was an I130 filing by my mom, but my mom passed away before my sister came to USA. Deeba Anwari worked hard on this case, and successfully got humanitarian reinstatement approved. If you are looking for an immigration lawyer to invite a loved one or a family member to the United States, this is not the correct lawyer for you. To give a few of numerous examples, she gives her own paperwork to complete, then she transfers that data to the application and there are incorrect mistakes that she will submit that will delay your case. She make wrong types of appointments in the other country for the interview of the applicant which further delays the case. When the case has been dismissed, she did not know what to do to find the reasons for the cases dismissal. Also, when the case is dismissed and she has no idea why, she would require an additional amount of money to continue the partnership. This is completely unethical and selfish. Her methods are unhelpful, unethical, and a waste of time and money. To all my Afghan brothers and sisters- just because she knows the Dari language, it will not help you in any way. Please steer clear of this lawyer.
