It's not always easy to factor out the emotional factors involved for a parent when our most precious commodities (children) are involved. I have found her to be very calm and collected and not rattled by the bravado and aggression of opposing attorneys. Her calm demeanor has instilled a great sense of confidence for me in her ability to be knowledgeable, skilled and concise. Her prompt responses in regard to phone calls and other correspondence has shown that she is a consummate professional who cares about proving excellent service. Please do not mistake her poised and empathetic manner for being a pushover. When needed, I have seen her display the more aggressive side, and let's face it, sometimes a situation calls for a bit more of an aggressive approach. She is a very good read of situations, and reacts accordingly. Thankfully I am down to the blended situation affecting the last of four children. Four more years and I will be done with the need for custody and child support dealings, but until then Ms. Purvis is my go-to attorney. Ms. Purvis is extremely professional and practices law of the highest integrity. I knew I could trust her to guide me to what was best for my case, even if it wasn't what I would have preferred at times.
