I hired MATTHEW BARBERO to represent my son in a criminal case in Hampton and one in Williamsburg. MR. To start, we chose Hunter Law Firm solely on Matthew Barbero’s consultation efforts after “shopping” the surrounding area. Specifically, we were seeking a demeanor/approach that met our needs to find resolution but also to be very respectful to all involved parties. Without me having to frame why demeanor was so important to us, our attorney proved to be steps ahead **right off the bat** on how he would approach the court appointment(s). Once hired and retained, we got to work to include his paralegal Helen who were transparent the entire way. In court, felt as though we were always in command but Matthew had a way bout him that was actually calming to both sides of the conflict. He articulated a tempo/pace that drew focus, by every single person, that was unmatched by those debating. He strategically implemented a brief pause without request, to update outside parties not in the court room, which just shows a glimmer of his complete character.
