Charge us over $1200 for emails!

After ending up in some hot water (for a silly victimless crime that was decriminalized shortly after my conviction) I was appointed an attorney (Mr. Martin at Big Valley). He met with me for 5 minutes before the day of court and then for ten seconds in the court room. He failed to explain some very important details about rather or not I should take a deal offered by the prosecutor. He failed to inform the judge of half the things i asked him to and he could have cared less when things got worse instead of better. I feel like any attorney who can’t take small cases they are appointed to and help the situation shouldn’t be paid big bucks fir big cases, they loose the little stuff ....

Very personable people especially at first ! However communication was very weak and it appears the most attention my case received was the day of the trial? It just felt as though nobody was there for me as the firm was simply overwhelmed and unable to deal with everything as needed!

I want to thank Robert Hahn and Aaron Burgin for their help with a reckless driving ticket for my son. We had no idea of the seriousness of speeding in Virginia and were extremely grateful for their service, professionalism and ability to resolve it with an improper driving charge. Mr. Hahn was extremely helpful in explaining the consequences and potential outcomes without trying to intimidate us into paying an outrageous fee as others tried to do. We were charged a fair rate and received high quality and professional service, Aaron negotiated the resolution with a positive outcome and frankly better than expected! Thank you both.! I would highly recommend them! Lesson learned for us, but call them if you need a Virginia lawyer!

I can not stress enough how happy I am to have found this law firm. I live in DC and got a reckless driving ticket and only later found out the repercussions regarding a criminal record in the state of VA. The initial consultation was in-depth, and helped understand some of the risks, but also kept things calm. I had talked to another law firm before that just tried to panic me into paying a huge bill up front that would have been more than the max ticket fine. Robert and his team addressed the issue realistically and managed to negotiate it down to an improper driving ticket, saving me several hundreds of dollars and a criminal charge in the state of VA. I could not be any happier! "I would use their service again!", only I hope I don't have to!

Robert Hahn and his colleague, Jacqueline, were very helpful with defending me against a former roommate who made false claims that I was threatening her. And after the case was dropped, Mr. Hahn still provided guidance via email the next day when my landlord attempted to place me back in the same apartment with the roommate who made the false claims.

My grandson was appointed to Aaron Burgin @ Big Valley Law when he ran into some legal troubles in Shen County.
