Terrified. That's how we felt about going to court. But Mr. Landau invited us to watch him try an injury case. He then took time afterwards to talk to all the people who came to see him. He is the only lawyer we have ever heard who does this. You can see what actually happens in Virginia courtroom. Plus, we got to hear the questions of other people who were clients (or were thinking about it) which helped us feel less nervous & answered questions we had not thought of yet. It seems that while he does not take every case, he tries a lot of cases in Virginia, DC and other places for folks from this area. After answering everyone's questions, he gave us a tour so that we would know where to go when it was our turn. The case we saw was for an injured police officer who got hit by a car on the job. Mr. Landau won and the judge, clerk and other people there all seemed to know him, respect him and that also made us feel much less stressed.
