Our family faced an incredibly unique scenario that a required a detailed understanding of law - especially related to family law, child safety, and custody. The need for accuracy, managing a variety of competing priorities, handling of delicate details in a clear and firm way, and a lot of patiencewas required to successfully weather this storm. Elizabeth was the absolute perfect person for this role. She provided expertise, always a variety of options, and would remind us of the goal and of what we had asked of her at outset, even when it got hard to recall for ourselves. Her dedication to her clients and the children she represents (and ultimately protects) made working with her an honor and pleasure, despite the difficulty of the scenario.

I was so fortunate to be referred to Ms. Vaughan by a friend in a time of need, when I had been doing laps around myself for days. To make a long story short, I was trying to open a protective order on behalf on my nephew against his mother who is losing a battle with substance abuse. I was so absolutely defeated after expending every resource to protect a child, and running into wall after wall with the juvenile system. After reaching out, Ms. Vaughan promptly contacted me, and after an hour phone meeting, I literally cried tears of joy because after 15 calls to child protective services, the juvenile intake system, and numerous other family law attorneys, I felt truly heard and had total faith in her that she could help. Ms. Vaughan sprung into action with professionalism, support, understanding, and met the legal system with a FORCE to be reckoned with. My nephew is now safe in my care, and I can truly say she has left an impact on both of our lives that I can never express enough gratitude for. If you need someone on your side, you need to seek her out to be your angel as well! She will have your back, and she is a BEAST at what she does! I can never thank you enough for your help!

The most incompetent lawyer I've ever had to deal with. She made mistakes in every document she wrote. It took her weeks to submit corrections and often there would still be mistakes.

We were so impressed by how much Elizabeth knows about adoption law. She took care of every detail so we didn't worry about anything. Since she only does adoption law, she really knows it well. Most important, she was so sweet and kind and was always available when we needed to ask a question. She really knows how to ease people's minds during a stressful time. We even called her at 8pm on a weekend and got a call right back.

My husband I went into adoption not knowing a lot about it. Elizabeth was kind and thoughtful and informed. With her help we adopted a beautiful baby girl in 2013. We are looking to adopt again this year and we hope to use her services again.
