Mike and the Daugherty Law Firm helped me out in a few occasions. The first one was during the Protective Order hearing I filed against my ex-wife for physical and verbal abuse as well as her big alcohol problem. Mike was well aware of the situation and because I was tired of her abuse and I knew it was her word against mine, I got smart and began audio recording the arguments she would try to pick with me and all the stuff she would say while intoxicated. Of course she lied under oath and said that she never threatened me or was ever drunk. Mike had already listened to these recordings and was confident that when it came time to cross examine, he used these recordings which crushed her credibility and the judge immediately granted me my 2 year protective order again her. When it came time for the "pendente lite" hearing a month later, Mike and I were faced with a huge obstacle. the PWC court was way backed up and instead of giving us ample time for the hearing, we were hit with only 2 hours. This made it very tough for me to plead my case. I was also assigned the worst judge that I could have ever encountered. Even with the 2 year Protective order against Amy, he granted her physical custody of our son. Why, because I've been responsible and worked to provide for them and the judge rather a biological parent to care for my son instead of the usual daycare he attended. But the biggest problem I had, is that I am Hispanic and since Amy is American the judge took her side (spoke to 2 other attorneys in different counties who know this judge and said the same thing about him). Even with these issues, Mike fought hard for me and rest assure he did a great job. I was able to stay in my home and more importantly since she is lazy, I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY HER ANY SPOUSAL SUPPORT OF ANY KIND. Had not been for Mike I probably would have been in worst shape. My divorce is now 100% finalized and I am more than content with the amazing battle Mike and the firm fought for me. I now have a lot more time with my son, More vacation time, I get to talk to him on the phone (since she was denying me the right to be his father) and still no kind of ALIMONY OR SPOUSAL SUPPORT. My nightmare is now over but keep in mind that she is going to be a part of my life because of our son (who is the most important person in my life) but thanks to Daugherty Law Firm, it will never be under her terms. Thank you Mike for everything you did.

5 STARS!!!!! Dave from The Daugherty Law Firm helped me out tremendously!!! I was charged with driving on a suspended(2nd offense) & reckless driving. Both charges carry a potential maximum of 1 year of jail time. With already having a conviction of driving on suspended and a reckless driving conviction just 7 months earlier and the driving record that I have. I was looking at jail time. Dave not only kept me out of jail, but I also was able to keep my license. NO JAIL TIME & NO LICENSE SUSPENSION!!! He is a very dependable & fair attorney. If I ever have any more legal troubles Dave would def. be my go to guy!!! THE DAUGHTERY LAW FIRM IS THE RIGHT CHOICE TO MAKE IF SEARCHING FOR AN ATTORNEY!!! 5 STARS!!!! GOOD PEOPLE!!! If I could give 10 stars, I would! I had Michael as my attorney. From the moment I got there he assured me that everything was going to be okay. I had a custody and visitation case for my child. I also dealt with his wife briefly and she was great as well. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is seeking great attorney.

5 STARS!!! I live in Indiana and I was in virginia for a couple weeks working and while I was there I receieved a dui one night after having a few beers after work. I was only suppose to be in virginia for a couple more days so I needed help fast! I called atleast 8 -10 different firms and spoke with tons of lawyers. NO one would give me the right answers or information. Until i spoke with David Daughtery. Not only was he the most fair priced but he understood the situiation better and made me feel way more comfortable about it . I told him I did not want to have to come back to the state just for a court date. He said hell do everything he can to make that happen . And he did ! i never had to go to court once and he still somehow got my dui dropped to a wreckless driving. Just a small court fee i Had to pay and no more dui. I wouldnt suggest anyone going anywhere else other than David for a dui !! He kept me informed daily on what was going on and called me personally to tell me the good news on the dui being dropped ! THANKS DAVID !!

I have met the daugherty law firm threw my fiance and was amazed and thankful how David was able to make us feel at ease with all that we where going threw. Not only was he very professional but made us feel important as family to him, we will continue to always work with and always recommend him and his law firm to everyone that needs a lawyer. Contacted the Daugherty Law Firm with less than a week before my case. The fact they took it so last minute alone has me extremely thankful but I received what I believe to be the best counsel around the Northern Virginia area. Mr. (Michael) Daugherty met with me and immediately had my anxiety put to rest by basically just showing me what a professional he can be while still getting to know you on a personal level. I received a judgement that was more favorable than the one received over a year ago for the same charge. I was very pleased with my gut decision to click on their webpage just based on the fact that they have the same last name as my mother's maiden name. haha

Had a terrible case due to poor judgement on my part and a very mean officer. Can honestly say without Mr David Daugherty my life would most likely be ruined.
