im an au pair and i had a reckless driving ticket, my host family need me to drive the kids places so we were really worried about me loosing points from my driving license. She went to court and no points were taken, i only had to pay for the ticket and court fees.

Back in Aug/Sep 2018 she helped me through a domestic assault charge that occurred between me and my wife. She did an amazing job through the whole process. I was already a twice convicted felon and looking at three more felonies and a misdemeanor when I met Jean. She was appointed to me by the court in Prince William County, and I had no idea how lucky I had become. I could tell that Jean was a bit nervous when she first met me, which is understandable considering I had been picked up for a malicious wounding and strangulation charge the night before. Jean listened though, which is one of her best qualities, and as time went on I could see that she has a keen ability separate "who you are" in order to determine your character rather than what you are charged with. Even though I did not hire Jean she fought for me as if I had, putting many many hours into the preparation of my trial, including some meetings on Saturday's for hours in her office. Because of Jean's dedication and persistence for pursuing the actual truth she was able to weed out many inconsistencies, and in the end she was able to show the jury what I had known all along. They only deliberated for thirty minutes before coming back with not guilty verdicts on all of the charges. Beyond Jean's zealous pursuit of excellence at her profession is her understanding that the legal system is not perfect and in many cases not fair. By the end of this debacle I felt almost as if I was being represented by a friend, which is an extremely good feeling. If you need a lawyer in Northern Virginia you could not ask for a better one than Jean Humbrecht.
