Mr. Duckett is the best on his job. I definitely advise him who needs a lawyer. He found the mistake on my ticket and saved me from getting reckless. I advise him to everyone.

I searched for a lawyer for a recent incident, and googled best lawyers for Prince William County. I came across Steve's page. We reached out to multiple lawyers but Steve's team responded within 24 hours. Steve was extremely professional and transparent throughout the entire process. He is on the pricier side of getting legal support but you get your value because Steve is well known. Let's just say Steve credibility is there and that's what you pay for. I absolutely owe the fact that my 'reckless driving' ticket was reduced to Speeding to Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz. They were professional, thorough, available, and ultimately successful. They have my 110% recommendation. When I spoke to Steve initially I could tell right away he was the right lawyer for me. He is a straight shooter and was knowledgeable, interested in not just the facts but me personally, and he did NOT sugar coat when he reviewed the possible tough outcomes as well as the difficult but eventually crucial steps I should take before trial to give me the best chance of a positive outcome. He did not promise any easy verdict but he did promise his very best. He and the firm gave me utterly crucial guidance and hope for a positive outcome despite ultimately being up to the courts- BEWARE anyone who claims otherwise. He and Price Benowitz earned being my counsel by the way they responded to my situation. Again, the fact he did not just "say anything" to gain my representation made all the difference. But he also gave me the feeling of someone very intent on helping me to the best outcome possible AND who without having to say it directly, it was evident to me he fully intended to do right by me and believed he would be successful. He exuded calm, spoke to truth, clearly knew the nature of the charges and people involved in Prince William Cty on every end of things - though I am sure his scope of ability extends beyond that jurisdiction alone, I recommend him especially if you get such a ticket here. I chose to go with him because he was honest, easy to talk to, clearly experienced, intelligent and covered every angle very directly. The firm, Price Benowitz, kept me informed, was able to secure me an immediate continuance (later court date) to give me time to take Driver Improvement classes and such to help my case, and deserves kudos as well. After 6 months of stress, for a 9am court date before even going into the proceedings at 915am, within 15 minutes and before even entering the court room, though he'd been working on everything well ahead of this, Steve met me and walked off and when he returned he had worked out an agreement to reduce my Reckless to speeding (a possible 6 month license suspension with NO work pass limits was avoided, a 2500 fine became 200 dollars, and most importantly what would have been my first and only Misdemeanor of my life was avoided and will never be on my record - oh yeah or a couple nights in jail- all absolutely legitimate possibilities). If you get the wrong cop, prosecutor, judge or lawyer, you will likely not have the same good fortune I had. I owe that to Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz. If you get a reckless do NOT take it lightly and show up at court without a lawyer in jeans and a sweater. I learned a lot about how serious a 'Reckless' charge is once I got it after 29 years of driving never having to face one. A Class 1 Misdemeanor is no joke. If Steve did not have the connections, experience, aptitude and quick thinking, my result and life as I know it right now could easily be a complete nightmare. If I can't drive to work I'd lose my job. I owe this to Mr. Duckett. The bottom line is he is a serious Professional and yet wasn't there to just put his time in- he was fighting to help me personally. And that trumps all the experience in the world and is why I give Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz 5 Stars and hope one day to run into him in Old Town Manassas or Woodbridge to buy him a thank you dinner- but I definitely hope we don't meet again for legal reasons! But if I need someone for who knows what, I wouldn't think twice about calling him and his firm right back. My eternal gratitude and highest recommendation to you Steve.
