Most unresponsive do nothing lawyer ever. Was appointed as my court appointed lawyer. I was in jail for a misdemeanor failure to appear that carried a maximum penalty of ten days in jail. Court date was scheduled for 3 weeks after his appointment as my lawyer. He never called my fiance despite half a dozen messages left pleading for a call back. Mr Goot took it upon himself to request a continuance that I never asked for and was dead set against. New date was 4 weeks out. I repeatedly asked my fiance to contact Goots office to get a bond hearing. These requests were completely ignored. Finally the court date arrived after 7.5 weeks of incarceration. Mr. Goots never came to see me. I never even saw him until court and even then he never spoke a single syllable to me. He did have his secretary snail mail a generic letter 2 weeks after his appointment to my case in which it was stated he would schedule a visit as I was incarcerated. A hollow promise. He entered a no contest plea without consulting me. The judge asked for documentation that could have easily been at his fingertips had he spoken with me in advance or prepared at all. Goots ran out of the room still having never spoken to me. He called my fiance and gave inaccurate information as to the outcome of the hearing. I found out 6 hours after court that Goots couldn't get the necessary documentation and I was convicted in absentia and given 10 days which were all suspended. So I spent 53 days in jail for nothing and have to pay court costs which include his fees for legal services never rendered. Completely unprofessional attorney not worth the cost of the paper his business card is printed on. Well that's an assumption on my part as I never even saw one of his business cards.

Going through what I went through was super stressful - I had never stepped foot into a court room before, I have never talked to a cop before, and I much less had never been in any kind of trouble. This whole experience was scary for me and I honestly had days where I didn't think I could move forward...at all. Until I met Michael & Amy - who were honest, real, & straight forward with me about my case. At first I had 0 hope that anything was going to go right. Absolute no hope at all. Once Michael took the reigns on my case, it's like everything fell into place, right where it was supposed to be. When I stepped into the court room - shaking and so afraid of what was to come, I knew I was in the BEST hands when the judge stood and said, 'Mr. Tittermary, it's so good to see you again." My sentence couldn't have gone any better - I am more than pleased with the way he and his lovely assistant Amy handled everything - and how they were ALWAYS there for me when I needed them the most. I definitely hope to never see him again, but I will recommend this man until the day I am laid to rest.

After looking around and not feeling happy with other attorneys, I feel so very lucky to have been introduced to Mr Comer for my will and estate planning needs. He is honest, humble, explains well and listens well and does not try to overcharge or rip you off. Excellent attorney and if you are looking for an attorney who has your best interest at heart and is not trying to overcharge with unnecessary things, I highly recommend him.

Michael is definitely the person you need to call if you need legal counsel. He helped me out greatly, listened to my needs, and got the results I wanted. Michael’s assistant Amy is also very attentive and easy to work with. They both do great work! I highly recommend them.

Michael is an extremely knowledgeable lawyer. He is conscientious with his rates and is dedicated to his client! Hopefully, I don’t need his services again, but would not use a different lawyer!

Talks a big game but dosent follow through. Very rude after he gets paid. If there are issues he wont call back or his receptionist will hang up on you. There are plenty of choices for law firms do your due diligence and dont get caught up with his smooth talking.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, he listens and gives you straight answers.
