Mr Tillotson is awesome individual...my husband got his case dropped down tho wreckless due to bad test, medical history , our dash cametc...but when i awoke with my husband gone(cops followed him home than arrested him on suspension of dui due to him touching line on road twice) but really he was tired from being up 18 hours from work..but anyways i called their office, their secretary answered phone it's like 8am and I'm hysterical because i can't get any info on my husband police ama sheriff don't answer phone and she's like well have someone call you soon. Than about 20 mins later ama this is a Sat morning...he calls me and explains what's going on and how thing usually go and how to find info on where he is and that he should be released soon and what to do and than he gave his no told me to call if i needed him.and this is while his out of state at a conference he took the time to call me back so i really appreciated that..and than we set up apt later to discuss the case and from there we spent time a times discussing how things are going..he Will give you his opinion and options but in the end he well do what you ask and he will be honest with you about everything...and his partnerwas friendly and their staff the ladies in front office are so helpful and friendly i spent an hour or so just chatting with them after beingthen a pymt...oh and he still work with you on a pymt plan that works for you..so if you need help with a case please trust these gentlemen to help you out..they are amazing...absolutely worth the time and money you invest in them.

Totally worth hiring. Great group of people, made the entire experience easy and almost stress free. He explained every detail about my case, everything that i could possably want to know about every procedure i was going though from start to finish. I came out with a good amount of knowledge about dui defense and what can and does happen. Very polite and professional but not the uptight kinda professionalism you would expect a normal firm to be. All and all i would definitely make anyone i know use them although i hope i never would have to 😜.

Michael Tillotson is no joke! I hired Michael to represent me on a DUI charge. I was pulled over for a broken taillight, blew a 0.11 on what I knew must of been a faulty reading and was charged. Mr. Tillotson spared no expense at representing my case and arguing my defense. I think he was even a little surprised when I was acquitted. I found Michael through a Google search. He was rated as THE BEST DUI LAWYER in Virginia. My gut told me to with Michael even though he was definitely more expensive than other lawyers I had looked at and spoken with. He was/is worth every penny. Michael is rated as THE BEST DUI LAWYER IN VIRGINIA for one simple reason. He is! He does his homework. He argued my defense with passion demonstrating his thorough knowledge of the law. Every Judge and DA knew who he was. They looked at him with what I first thought was respect. After my verdict, I understood that look to be more a mixture respect and FEAR. Michael Tillotson isn’t a magician. At the time, I believe my case was the highest BAL he had ever won an acquittal on and may still be. If you know you’re guilty, plead out and don’t waste the courts time. However... if you feel like you’ve been pigeonholed, targeted, subjected to mishandled roadside sobriety test and/or a faulty BAL reading, I urge you to hire Michael. You will not regret it.

I must say, from day one Atty Jeff Martin was there -readily offering advice and calming my nerves with his knowledge. He was the only attorney to offer advice and say, even if you don't choose me, these are things you should know. I felt the Lord guided me to use his service. Was I right to listen? Yes. He is a man of God and true to his word. He wasn't misleading and advised some of the requests I was making may not be possible. In the end, everything worked out as I requested. He listens to your concerns and doesn't make empty promises. That is what I appreciated the most, integrity and honesty.

Michael recently represented me for a reckless speeding ticket. He got it reduced to improper driving and even talked to prosecutor into reducing my fine by half. He had already made arrangements with the prosecutor before my trial began, so when we were called, it took less than 3 minutes to come to an agreement. Very seamless experience. I would highly recommend Mr. Tillotson.

I never leave bad reviews and in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever drafted and submitted anywhere but I feel compelled to warn others about Mike Tillotson and let them know of my very bad experience doing business with this attorney - Mike Tillotson. He is a good talker but in the end, I was out over $8,000 and he was unable to help me with a first conviction. I trusted him and stayed loyal to the end to my own detriment when I should have trusted my gut and jumped ship and got another attorney who would have actually went to bat for me. Lesson learned. If your intuition is telling you this man is a snake or a shark and not to be trusted, do yourself a favor and don’t keep giving money to this person expecting this person to fight for you. My life is ruined over trusting this man’s flowery words that he would fight for me and help me and he did absolutely nothing but make excuses and pitch his book. Please do not waste your money. This man is a good talker and loves to brag about his empty accomplishments but he will take your money with no remorse and make promises he can not keep. He simply is lacking in moral character and I am not saying this simply because he did not help me. I am saying this to caution others not to be so naive like I was. Take Heed!

Mr Tillotson and Mr Martin are very knowledgeable and professional. Them and their staff are very friendly and seem to care about the clients.

Mark Matney is a conscientious lawyer (good natured too) that will work on your behalf. His knowledge and expertise is exceptional. Watching him work the court room purposefully and meticulously let me know that he had experience— the man had a plan. It made me grateful to realize that there are some people that still care about pride in work and delivering good customer service while not nickel and diming you every step of the way. Rates are not cheap nor are they steep, but equitable. If I could put him on retainer for any possible future legal issues, whatever they could be, I would.
