Throughout a prosperous career, I became injured and unable to perform my duties. I was living on savings just to get by. I had applied for disability twice on my own, only to be turned down. My case was pending for months at Portsmouth ssa office, and they only.told me that they have yet to get a return call from the branch manager. I made a call, got the number for the commissioner office for ssa, and.within minutes, my stuff was released from Portsmouth to DDS. I ended up having to do the LAWYERS job. Maybe if they communicate more promptly, and actually do what they tell me they're gonna do, when they say they are, and if I finally get awarded after 19 years, the review may be edited to be more positive. But so fat, it's been a negative ride with them
