When Eric was hired we immediately had a bad feeling about him. We moved forward because we were running out of options. The young lady that answers the phone (Jennifer) is sooo rude. I was concerned with why she would treat clients this way. Eric rarely returned calls (unprofessional) and didn't seem to have the best interest of his client. On the day of court he spoke negatively of his client and even said, "He should do time." Like who says that about their client? After sentencing he didn't even speak to us (the family). It was nothing more than a job to him. He had no sympathy for us that lost a loved one to the system, but a job where he simply went home to his wife and children. For him it appeared to be another day at the office while getting what he perceived to be criminals off the streets. After his client disclosed that we was threatened by law enforcement he did nothing to rectify the situation. He just doesn't care. I do not recommend him if you are looking to have a fair case.

We hired this lawyer for a very important case. We were very pleased with the work he was doing. He returned phone calls and emails promptly and was available for phone consultations at first. When we started to feel he was not adequately prepared for our case we voiced our complaint over the phone and in writing what we were dissatisfied about. It was our right to do so because, we were paying him. He became very aggressive and very rude and unprofessional to us in an email. He refused to turn over the information we paid him for, to use in an upcoming case. We tried repeatedly to contact him via phone and email to discus the bill once we received it. When we finally got him on the phone to discus some of the disputed charges on his invoice, he told us "we signed a contract and if we did not pay, he would send it to collections." Then he abruptly hung up the phone." Very rude. We have never had an attorney to act like this before. Now We are expected to pay a bill for services that were not fully received, He refused to address our concerns over the disputed portions of the bill. This situation is unfair to say the least, because ordinary people are at a huge disadvantage when faced with challenging an attorney about a legal dispute. Why should we have to pay for disputed services being billed for on the invoice without fair discussion about our concerns? It just boils down to, shut up and pay or else.

If you have to step into an attorneys office, its a nerve wracking experience. I felt absolutely secure the entire time I had an ordeal thanks to Scott Flax and Ryan Graves. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jim did an outstanding job representing our organization. He was completely personable, professional and effective in conducting our legal affairs. He obtained an excellent outcome for us in a very difficult and complex matter. He contained the costs and was extremely fair in his billing for services. He gave us the opportunity for input and listened to our concerns regarding the litigation. In short, I have total confidence in his ability, integrity and superior skill as an attorney.

Mr. Theuer is what lawyers should strive to be- smart, forward thinking, honest, proactive and a tireless advocate for his clients. In the two times he represented me he was always engaged, never rushed and excellent at communicating to me about any movement in my cases. Jim Theuer is the best choice I've ever made hiring an attorney and I'll hire him again should the need arise.

Mr. Atkinson is a very genuine person who cares about his clients. I called him after I was involved in a traffic accident with my service dog in the vehicle. He took just as much of an interest in the health of my dog as he did mine. Mr. Atkinson took care of everything so my only concern was getting better. He called to update me on the progress and also called just to check in and make sure I was doing ok. He got the insurance company to settle the case faster than expected. I have referred several friends to him as I know he would take care of them like he would a personal friend or family member.
