I was accused and held without bond by the Virginia Beach justice system for a crime I did not commit despite my not being a criminal, never having any issues going to court, and being a military veteran. Mr Protogyrou represented my son in Norfolk District Court on a possession of marijuana charge. The police came to the duplex where my son lives on a burglar alarm call for the next door apartment. The police weren't truthful to my son when he willfully allowed them to enter his apartment to check no one was hiding inside. They saw a small amount of marijuana on the coffee table and told him they didn't care about it, they were making sure no one was hiding inside. When they found no one, they turned the call in to a drug call. Mr. Protogyrou was very prepared and had the 2 officers giving different versions of the event. The case was dismissed. He is an excellent attorney who was very prepared and has an excellent reputation in the community. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having a legal issue.
