Was able to retain Cole Roberts for a Class 1 Misdemeanor of possession of stolen property. He is a younger attorney with experience, pulling out all the tricks to work with us for a successful outcome. All charges were dismissed. Very respectful, knowledgeable, and honest. I went thru a divorce, which just got finalized on 10/17/23. Ryan Graves was my lawyer for this. If you are a guy, and need a good divorce lawyer, do not go here. After our initial interview, the only call I have received in over a year from Mr. Graves was to verify the legal insurance claim number so he could get paid. With regards to the settlement, i sought Mr. Graves' legal insight on to what was fair. He used the divorce calculator and that is all. No kids involved, she had a business, but choose not to work, etc. I am paying a higher percentage to her then what I've seen any peers have to pay that includes paying child support. I think it's too much, but I'm not totally sure. It's not that I was given bad legal advice, I wasn't given any legal advice in this. I was sent a form to sign and notorize, with no prior discussion, so that divorce papers would be served to lawyer vice me. This was a completely blank form, nothing filled in. When i asked about it, the form was resent with appropriate blocks filled out. No explanation or apology. I have had to ask repeatedly to get any information on status of paperwork. I finally got signed separation agreement (2 months after the fact) after asking for it. The divorce was finalized on 10/17/23. The only reason I know this is, is that my now ex-wife emailed me the signed copies of the decree. I still haven't seen anything from Mr. Graves. Update: 3/11/24. I have still not heard from the law firm about the status of my divorce. Utterly unprofessional as well as pathetic.
