I was thoroughly displeased with the lack of services provided. She was not prepared, she only talked to the client ONE time since the bond hearing (which, as you all know, is not immediate), and it was less than a 5 minute conversation. She never took it upon herself to meet the client’s mom despite having talked to her on the phone numerous of times. She was not prepared for the bond hearing despite everything being prepared for her. It was overall just a horrible experience, a waste of time, and a waste of money. I don’t agree with taking on more than you can chew- especially not for money. Individuals are depending on you to provide justice for those who deserve it. Not to play around with people’s lives for the sake of money that can be replaced. Again, highly disappointed and will not be utilizing their services ever again!

**** It’s so sad to read how some people attack this attorney for doing her job. It’s over 20 plus law degrees out there. Each law degree has its own specialty. She is a criminal defense attorney. If you don’t need one good. Just remember someone you know might need one. Then you will be looking to find a good one. All attorney’s have a job to do rather you like it or not. No one can tell a lawyer what cases they shouldn’t or should represent. This isn't television, this real life people.No matter the lawyer specialty, their job is to be the voice for their client. It's just sad to write bad reviews because you don't like some of the cases she represents. **** Attorney Matheny-Willard law firm is amazing. They genuinely have a heart for the people. She has been my lawyer since 2021. Here it is 2022 and she’s still fighting for my family. She will speak up on your behalf in court and not be afraid. She even speaks up to the judge, while still being professional and following the law. Most lawyers fold if they don’t agree with the judge. Attorney Matheny-Willard will ask the judge questions most attorneys are scared of. She listens to your concerns and don't downplay them. She's very honest and will tell you the truth. I can go on and on because the firm truly cares. I thank God I didn't allow these reviews stop me. I thank God she accepted my case.
