My daughter received a speeding ticket the group at defensive law was awesome Steven and Jordan were terrific. Very personal very quick to respond to any questions I was able to take care of most everything over the phone and by an email which was very convenient. Steven prep my daughter before court. My daughter completed the recommended actions that Jordan and Steven recommended. On court day Steven met us there recapped everything with us. Went for the judge and everything went very well was very satisfied and happy with the outcome and the work and effort of the driving defense law group!! Thank you again Jordan and Steven!

Driving Defense Law was great to work with. They responded promptly and gave good recommendations for a driving class I could take online as well as for calibration so I didn’t have to figure it out myself. They responded quickly to questions. I couldn’t even recall the last time, literally, I had a ticket before this. Driving along with traffic I was genuinely confused when the officer pulled me over. Attorney Steven Thomas was super helpful and my ticket was dismissed. I appreciate that DDL tells you who you’re working with and that’s who you talk to and shows up for court. Not a last minute change and no responses from staff/attorney. I would use them again but hopefully I won’t need to.

I had my first speeding ticket in my 15 years of driving recently. Steven was very informative and helpful. I was very scared going into the court room and he put me at ease. He made the process so much easier. My reckless driving was brought down to a regular speeding ticket. I highly recommend!!

There are not enough words to thank Steven Thomas for his representation. I received TWO tickets on the same day, immediately reached out to him, and he talked me through what I needed to do to make my situation better for court. I got my speedometer calibrated, took a driving class, and pulled my driving record for court. Funny enough, Steven got up and got BOTH charges 100% dismissed. I didn’t even need all of those mitigating factors, because he knew exactly what to say and exactly how to plead my case in my favor. I felt extremely protected, cared for, and well represented that day. I’ll never reach out to anyone else for representation if I get another ticket (which hopefully I won’t!) Do not even think twice about retaining this group of attorneys - specifically Steven.

The result in court was outstanding but either way I was very satisfied with the professionalism, responsiveness and work from McCormick Law & Consulting. I was initially hesitant at the need for a lawyer to assist one of my children with a traffic incident but your advice and counsel was worth the cost. Everyone I interacted with by phone, email or in person was helpful and well informed.

Highly recommend Driving Defense Law. Attorney Stephen Thomas was very responsive and informative throughout the process of defending my wife's Portsmouth, VA Police Department traffic citation, resulting in the Portsmouth General District Court Judge dismissing the case entirely. Reasonable attorney fee and positive results. We could not ask for anything more.

Everyone in the office was very helpful and made sure that I was up to date at all times. Everything went smoothly and although I was out of the state, they took very good care of me.
