No opportunity to express my issue before I am told the cannot help

Joia, my attorney, was very helpful, attentive, and uplifting during this trying time. When she was out on leave, she collaborated with her team to make sure I was taken care of. They all were great, especially Lauren and Josh. I would highly recommend using them for your legal needs.

Mr. McCoy was on time for the meeting (8:30pm), answered all my questions, explained technical terminology, provided options and recommendations for my case. No complaints.

When the heartless bureaucrats at Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) denied my benefits early in the pandemic I reached out to Pierce- McCoy, PLLC, and was put in touch with attorney Joia D’Ambrosia. I knew nothing about the company having picked them randomly off an internet list of “unemployment lawyers.” However, if Joia D’Ambrosia is representative of the folks who work for Pierce-McCoy, I’m confident it’s an ethical and trustworthy firm. Joia is an excellent lawyer and an exceptional person. Hardworking and diligent, she took my information, timeline and narrative and crafted them into a clear, concise, professional document which was presented to the dysfunctional, broke down VEC. Joia is experienced, intelligent, ethical, honest, and above all, she’s a great communicator. Throughout this long, long process she stayed in touch and kept me informed always making time to take my calls. Patient, kind, and with good humor she listened to my concerns, never “sugar coated” her opinions and gave me sound, professional advice. Having her represent me decreased my anxiety and anger exponentially which was priceless. Eventually, we obtained a favorable outcome. Updated Honest Review: Pierce McCoy, PLLC should be shutdown due to fraud and false advertising. Ironic considering they claim to be legal support. They will be included when I contact my next attorney to have them disbanded for fraud. --------------------------- Absolutely terrible legal support. Will ignore you and not update you about case. They also don't provide any assistance outside of providing info readily available on Google. If an issue requiring legal assistance, they are absolutely useless.

I had an unusual situation at my place of employment that I had serious concerns about. I did a Google search specifically looking for a firm that specialized in employment law. Pierce McCoy stood out because of their 5 star reviews. Now I personally know why they are so highly rated. Mr. Jeff Lascara was able to get me an appointment with Mr. Ben Johnson almost immediately. In just a one hour consultation, Mr. Johnson listened intently to my concerns and we talked through all of the possible options for my situation. Using his advice, I was able to solve the issue at my place of employment amicably and I feel very comfortable with the outcome. I highly recommend the Pierce McCoy Law Firm. They earned a spot on my contact list in case I have any employment questions in the future.
