I retained Berry & Berry to help me navigate some potential conflicts of interest with my outside volunteer activities and my federal employment. They gave me valuable guidance on the steps I needed to take to avoid any conflicts so that I could continue my volunteer work. They are more expensive than other attorneys I have used, but they also credited my unused time so that I can use them again in the future if necessary. I highly recommend them for federal employment law.

Could not put a star lower than one, this company ruined my life. I did the research and handed them a simple case of gender discrimination with documented federal felonies, and they still could not win my case. The main federal felony was a voilation of 18 USC 1001, falsifcation of federal documentation. The specific lie was being terminated using 5 CFR 213.3202, what it should have been was 5 CFR 315.804/805 what confuses me is how did federal employment attorneys did not know this? What really confuses me is the fact that Virginia attorneys have to take an oath of office Virginia law Title 54.1 section 54.1-3909, that states:...that I will suppprt the Constititution of the United States and the Constititution of the Commonwealth of Virginia....... How is falsificaton of official goverment documentation supporting the Constititution of the US? Since allowing federal felonies to occur is not supporting the US Constititution why did Berry and Berry violate their oath of office with my case?

Attorney Todd Hull was awesome to work with. I was facing a suspension for an extremely minor offense, which was also my first ever disciplinary issue. He worked with to develop the evidence we needed and submit a written response to the proposed suspension as well as a verbal virtual meeting with the decision authority. The suspension was thrown out and everything put where it should have been at the beginning. The entire process was made easy by Todd. His service prompt and efficient, really couldn’t have asked for more.

When I started my litigation against my employer I was unable to find representation in my local area as I worked for a government institution. I was desperate having never been in a situation of this magnitude. Upon calling the firm the staff listened and guided me to one of the most effective attorney I could ever imagine. I had a consultation with John Berry regarding a security clearance denial. He was able to accommodate my very short timeframe to appeal the decision. While I ultimately decided to appeal without him representing my case, I would highly recommend his services to anyone in a similar situation. More importantly, he took the draft response I had written and all the documents I provided and turned it into a crushing response that blew the government’s case to pieces. He told me to expect a response in 3-4 months and that I would probably have to go to court to get a fair shake and hope for a favorable outcome. Two weeks after submitting my response, I received word that my clearance had been reinstated. This would not have happened without his excellent work. I also think he was extremely fair about billing. I feel he produced a product that required more hours than he billed. He’s a great attorney and I’m so glad I found him.
