Mr. La Fratta was on time and diligent in getting the details of the case. He is very protective of his clients, and very courteous. And surprisingly he's down to earth. I would definitely recommend him to other clients.

Michael had great communication and was extremely proactive in defending me in my reckless driving case. He was able to work with the judge to get all charges dropped in exchange for the completion of a court mandated Defensive Driving course. He saved many points on my license and helped keep my insurance rates down without me even having to show up in court. I would highly recommend his services!

Michael LaFratta is the most responsive attorney I have ever worked with and I highly recommend him if you're looking for a lawyer in the Richmond area. He was hired by my family to represent my son, who had a felony charge, which resulted form a short-term substance abuse problem he developed while in college. Mr. LaFratta is honest and straightforward and really gives you an idea of what to expect. He did a great job of giving us the best and worst case scenarios so we knew exactly what might happen on court day. He also told us what he thought would be the most likely outcome, although he made it clear that the judge has the final say. He was highly responsive leading up to the court day via both email, text and phone. And he went out of his way to communicate with and even talk with the prosecutor in the Commonwealth Attorney's office in person to try to negotiate the best deal for my son. He was early on court day and met briefly with us prior to going in to court to make sure all bases were covered. He was great at every step of the process. I cannot stress enough what a difference to just know exactly what to expect and to be mentally prepared regardless of the outcome. In my son's case, the outcome was good. He was given the first-offender program and his case will be dismissed as long as he does everything right while on probation. For what Mr. Lafratta did, I deem his service to be very affordable. By the way, we initially had another attorney, which seemed to just want to settle for the status quo, which I found unacceptable when my son's future was at stake.

Mr. Michael LaFratta was instrumental in my defense case. He worked hard for me, was always available to talk & was very informative about my options. He has become not only a trusted attorney but also a friend that that doesn't beat around the bush, is straight forward and honest with u around every turn.
