I reached out to Nick with a peculiar situation regarding a student harassing me and an institution that was unwilling to step in. I wanted to take a more conservative approach regarding the situation, as I had hoped to retain a good relationship with my (now previous) employer. Ultimately we ended up filing a case and settling in pre-trial negotiations. Nick was a solid person to work with who showed empathy and tact with how we approached the situation.

I find myself in a bad academic situation regarding honor code violations, but Mr. Nicholas has still been able to find a way to put me in a position to get the best resolution possible. Very supportive, comprehensive, honest, and easy to talk to. I have talked to other education lawyers, and he is the only one who has genuinely cared about me, given me useful advice, and looked for a way to get me out of this situation.

This attorney is a horrible person he does not care about his clients he is rude and disrespectful he does not keep in contact with you he only cared about the money after he was paid in full he started to curse at me recommended that I take the maximum jail time without putting up a fight he was degrading to me and my mom he use serval curse words he is super unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this SOB if he was my last resort !!!!! Rating isn’t even a 1 it’s a 0 he shouldn’t be able to practice

As a doctorate student, Nick generously offered me a consultation regarding higher education law, patiently listened to my situation and provided a honest and candid opinion of what options or lack thereof are available to me. He was compassionate towards the unfair and unjust treatment I have been experiencing and approached my issue carefully by looking at multiple perspectives. Although, I was not able to proceed with retaining Nick, should any future issues arises I will seek for him, as he is an experienced and strong advocate for students.
