After using Alicia Finley with Barnes & Diehl Law firm in 2013, I recommend you stay away from this Law Firm. Alicia Finley was so bad I asked Eddie Barnes for another attorney and at first he denied a new attorney. After I showed him what Finley did and didn't do Eddie Barnes appointed another lawyer. The second lawyer came at the end of my case and my X-wife got everything she asked for. All I got from Barnes & Diehl was a $47,000 bill and my X-wife lawyers bill was $12,000. The only thing Barnes & Diehl is good at is "Billable Hours". After all the negative comments I've seen about Finley, she still works for Barnes & Diehl. As My Sign says: THINK TWICE ABOUT CALLING BARNES & DIEHL, YOUR CASE WILL DEPEND ON IT.

Like it was stated in previous reviews STAY AWAY from this place. The administrative Kathy was very rude I called previously and didn’t get a return phone call . When I did finally get through to her office after I was told I could be helped by the Secretary all the administrative could talk about was money and after I told her that money was not a problem I just needed help she kept saying no I cannot take the case and did not have a real reason . I honestly felt like I was judge by the way my voice sound ! Because she had no reason at all not to take my case after I continuously asked her why she just kept saying because I can’t it’s too much .Its like she didn’t believe I had any money for a lawyer . That was the worst service I have ever had. And I wish I had of seen all the negative reviews before even calling .

Craig Sampson was my attorney from 2014-2015. I wasn't going to leave a review but I'm actually still dealing with the mess he left me with. When I got my file Craig had left copies of the CASA report in it which stated the father had drug problems. My attorney never brought to my attention that an actual doctor stopped prescribing narcotics to him. Never even asked a Judge for a drug test because Craig hid this information from me. It was the only factual information in my whole case! Please use another firm. I believe this firm sees desperate families who will stop at nothing for justice as an opportunity to drag a case to appeal . This firm doesn't care about you ....only dollar signs.

I hired Larry Diehl in the middle of a messy and emotional divorce. I interviewed several other attorneys as well. Larry was highly recommended to me by an acquaintance but I was warned by others that Larry was in extreme demand and that he may not be able to dedicate time to my little case. I was surprisingly shocked at how quickly Larry became very acquainted with the specifics of my case and surprised that he treated me as though I was his only client. He returned calls/emails immediately and was very professional and honest all the way to the end. In a hearing involving child custody, I was surprised at how many details he remembered that even I had forgotten. I would strongly recommend Larry and his firm to anyone needing any level of service in Family Law. He is one of a kind!

I used Mr Diehl for my divorce in 2009-10. He is tops in his field and didn't take any garbage off my ex or his lawyer. He was very professional and helped me keep my head and sanity in a life event that blind sided me. He has a great staff working for him that you can talk to when he is not immediately available. He always replied to any question I had within a day or less and made me feel safe in his care. If it were not for him I don't know what I would have done. He was honest and fair in his billing practices and even worked with me for small bits of time he didn't bill for...how many lawyers do that?!?!?! He came to me highly recomended by friends who had used him. I also found that he has the highest respect from his peers in the field as well and that means a lot.

Larry is an honest lawyer, and knowledgeable. However, I feel that he stretches himself too thin, is too passive in negotiations, and did not create a strategy that he reviewed with me prior to going to court. He does not plan for the oppositions strategy and prepare for a counter. In short, I feel that he has lost the "fire" necessary to fight the tough cases.

This firm made alot of promises, Ed is great at the sales pitch but brought nothing to the table. My divorce process was drug out over 3 years at a cost of over $50,000 with no return. None of my evidence or anything about my case was brought before a judge. I finally had to hire a new attorney to cean things up and reach some finality. Knowing what I know now, I would have left the firm and sought more competent help.
