I received a reckless driving charge for speeding on I-85 in Dinwiddie County earlier this year. I was not an in-state resident and had never had any traffic violations before, so I was very concerned about this particular charge. After thorough research, I ended up reaching out to Mr. Long. I found him to be very professional, honest, and straightforward in all of our interactions. He did not make me any wild promises, but did let me know what I should expect and what he could realistically achieve. He asked me to complete online driving classes and write a personal statement, since I would not be able to make the court date due to work obligations. He was great about responding to emails and/or voicemails in a timely manner, and I found his fee to be very fair. My charge ended up getting reduced to a minor infraction, which did not carry any driving point penalties, something I remain very thankful for. All-in-all, I would highly recommend Mr. Long to anyone looking for a lawyer in the area.

Mr. Long was very helpful when my fiancé received a reckless driving ticket. Through his guidance, we were able to get it reduced to a traffic infraction. He was always available to get in touch with and answered all questions along the way.

I am in the military and a reckless driving in VA is very serious. This could have had serious consequences for my career. My job requires a high level of discipline and a clean record. I called around 15 lawyers in the area. When I called Mr. Long, I spoke directly with him. When we spoke VIA email, he responded in a timely manner. I am sure he has a large case load but still found time to speak. The price was reasonable for the outcome. I found cheaper lawyers and more expensive lawyers but Mr. Long's experience with the area was worth it. The case was dismissed. I could not have been more pleased with his professionalism and most importantly, his results.

I am an NC resident who received a speeding ticket over the Memorial Day Weekend in Dinwiddie County. At the speed I was pulled, NC would have suspended my license for a minimum of 30 days. David walked me through the process, advised me on things like Driver Improvement Courses, etc. He responded to my emails directly and my phone calls, answering all of my questions. His cost was very reasonable and his client interface was excellent. David felt confident he could ask for a dismissal with only court cost to be paid.
