I got a speeding ticket in VA on Feb 14, 2022. I live in NC. I contacted David Long. He took my information and handled my case. It turned out that the company vehicle I was driving had a speedometer error. He was able to get the ticket reduced to "defective equipment" and I had to pay a fine plus court costs. No points on my record. I highly recommend that David Long and the firm he works for if you get a speeding ticket in Brunswick County VA.

A family member hired David Long to represent them in a traffic violation situation concerning a reckless driving ticket in Henrico. Mr. Long was very clear about every possible outcome and gave clear directions on what they should do to get the best result. He made sure to say that every judge is different and every case is different but he would do his very best. The office is conveniently located and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Replies by email and phone messages were fast and consistent. In the end they got the very best result that they could have gotten and Mr Long went above and beyond to make it possible on the day of court. He is an honest man and has been doing this long enough to give good solid advice. Several lawyer's offices were contacted before making a decision to hire Mr Long. His helpful manner, knowledge and straightforward advice were unmatched. Words can not convey my gratitude and appreciation for Mr. Long. This was my first time ever hiring an attorney. I had gotten pulled over on Rt. 460, going through Waverly. The officers clocked me at 69 in a 35; way past reckless. I was scared and immediately I knew I had to get an attorney to advocate on my behalf. I googled traffic attorney’s in that area and Mr. David Long and a couple of other firms popped up. The first attorney I rung was too busy to come to the phone, so I called the next one and that’s when I got Mr. Long. He was very empathetic, told me what I was up against and he was very knowledgeable about the Sussex County court and the Judges and his rates were very affordable (I am a single mother making $35,000/yr). I was very stressed bc I was facing a Misdemeanor, up to a year in jail, license suspension and a $2500 fine. He made me feel at ease and his honesty is what sold me. He was not aggressive over the phone and while talking to him, his voice reminded me of the actor Owen Wilson…lol. He never made unrealistic promises but he did assure me I was in great hands. He went to court on my behalf and when I spoke with him later that day he got the charges reduced to a small driving infraction, 40 hours of community service, an online driver improvement course and a measly $250 fine!!! I was blown away. I just knew at the minimum that I was going to face license suspension and a hefty fine. I thank God for this man. A huge burden has been lifted off of me. I speak blessings, great health and prosperity over him and his family. Just hire him. You won’t be disappointed.
