Riley & Wells Attorneys-at-Law were very professional when dealing with my case. Their associates are honest and fair. Cody Remington was the attorney who gave me a consultation and provided an honest opinion regarding the win rate vs loss. I knew there is no such thing as guaranteed and they never stated it was. I felt it would be difficult case to win, but I've had a somewhat spotless driving record and I didn't want a reckless driving case to turn into a misdemeanor. If I were to loose this case, the facts were I was looking at 11 points with a lot of fines, a suspended license and a misdemeanor. They made sure not to overpromise which was a bit unnerving at first. Given the nature of court case, it comes down to the police officer and their testimony. Without hesitation, I made sure to get the original tickets and do my due diligence to help build my case. A couple of hours after the ruling, I've received a call from Jana (Paralegal), she said that the case was reduced. My penalty was reduced to a meager 2 points and a small fine. For that! And for others reading this review, know that there are NO guarantees on moving violations cases. (especially in VA) but best of luck from one motorist to another.

My name is Andrew Curtiss. I would like to attest to the professional services of the Riley and Wells Law Firm. I was subject to the Virginia State “Over 80” stipulation, imposed by a Virginia State Trooper with a Napoleon Complex. Since I am a resident of another state I was forced with the option of accepting a misdemeanor and paying a ridiculous fine that may have caused my license to be suspended or revoked, or attending court. The problem is that I was in Virginia for work and was unable to make the court date because court was set for a date where I was not in Virginia. Riley & Wells represented me when I got a speeding ticket in the notorious Hopewell, VA stretch of 295 around Richmond. It was reduced to a no-points equipment violation. I did have to send them some driving record information; had they acknowledged receipt of it in some fashion I may have given them a five-star review. All is well that ends well, however.

I hired Riley & Wells when I was charged with reckless driving going 83 in a 70 on I-95 which is a Class 1 misdemeanor in VA. I am from out of state and have never gotten any kind of ticket before so this was a very stressful situation for me. Riley & Wells made every step of the way easy. They were able to get my charge reduced to defective speedometer which is a no points non-moving violation.
