I was represented by attorney Robert C. T. Reed, I found him to be easy to talk to and communicated with me in terms that I could understand completely. I was pleasantly surprised that he had gotten more for me than I had expected and listened to my concerns and needs. The whole process was very professional and I never felt that I was not important as a client. Every question was answered in detail. I also want you to really recognize his Legal Assistant Denisha C.Edmonds. She was also extremely professional and responded to all my calls and questions in a very professional manner and always had kind words. Jennifer Capocelli was an excellent lawyer that I felt represented me above and beyond in my worker’s compensation claim. She was responsive and kept me informed about everything during the entire process.

Our family lost our 21 year old son in a horrific motor vehicle accident. We contacted Malcolm McConnell for advice after receiving the referral from a retired Commonwealth Attorney and Private Practice Attorney who stated if you want the best, call the best as your son deserves the best. As parents who had no idea what we were doing and knowing that we had to do something to find the best representation to speak and to fight for him, we decided to call Mr. McConnell. Malcolm "Mic" McConnell immediately returned our call, patiently listened through our family's pain and tears, was very compassionate and understanding of our pain and heartbreak of what tragedy we had experienced. His understanding and experience as well as his explanation of the laws of Virginia helped our family feel at ease in trusting him with the legal process of representing someone so special to us. We wanted the "best" representation for our son and we found it with Mic and his staff! His assistants are also just as caring and compassionate! Everyone in the firm really makes you feel like you are family. Mic's assistants listen, they allow you to open up your feelings with them, they allow you to cry, they understand! They are trusting with your heart and became family to us. Their knowledge of the legal system and the civil process is what we considered "Top Notch"! I was in an accident on 7/6/21. I have received minimal communication and every time I call I receive information that I have a new legal assistant. I called again this week and my “new” assistant reassured me that I would receive a call the next day. It’s been four days. I’m so disappointed with this firm.

Another edit: See my review below, and my first edit to that review. So they finally did contact me and promise that if I ever applied for another position with them, their "communication would be much improved". So I found a "Case Accounting Specialist" posting online which interested me and for which I was qualified, and applied for it. Within minutes, I received an automated form letter in my email telling me that they would not be pursuing my application. So I guess that is what passes for "much improved communication". Quite laughable, in my opinion. EDIT: See their response to my review. That was over a week ago. Nobody has contacted me yet. I was supposed to have an interview with them for a Mailroom position. The night before my interview was scheduled to take place, the recruiter abruptly emailed me and canceled it. I was told that they had "made the decision to close the position." When I attempted to reach back out to them to get some type of explanation, they wouldn't respond to me. If this is how they treat their potential employees then I am afraid to find out how they treat potential clients.

Was very unhappy with lawyer settlement and time it took to close. Only good thing they were courteous. I must have got the wrong lawyer.
