Coming from out of state I was weary about who I would find to represent me in a situation I did not expect to find myself. The 'reckless driving' charge that I received for speeding in VA was a shock to me but Riley & Wells have seen it many times. My lawyer was clear about the services he could provide and delivered on them all. The communication was precise easy to understand.

Got my 84 in a 70 case dismissed! Well worth the cost to avoid the long term cost of increased insurance rates! Would recomend!

In January 2020 I was issued a reckless driving ticket for a incident that I was involved in. I am a CDL driver and need a good driving record for my job and this ticket could take all of that away. I knew I needed to find a attorney that was well respected to help me. I contacted a friend who works in the court system, a person I hold in high regards and asked him for a recommendation. He suggested Mr Wells at Riley & Wells. I contacted Mr. Wells and did a phone interview with him. He was very aware how serious a this charge is to a my CDL and for my job. I also explained employer that had suspended from driving until my case had been resolved. At the time we talked my court date was two months way. Mr. Wells suggested that we have the court date moved up as soon as possible. Two weeks after my initial contact with Mr. Wells I received a phone call from him. I thought he was calling to further discuss my case and about moving it forward. Instead he called to tell me that he had already discussed the matter with the courts and the commonwealth's attorney and that my case had been dismissed. He said that the incident would not show up on my driving record and to quote Mr Wells " it's like it never happened". The next day when I walked into work , they told me my driving privileges had been reinstated. If you are looking for a attorney that understands how important driving is to your lively hood and can make things happen. You need to call Mr. Wells.

I was personally a bit skeptical hiring a lawyer for a reckless driving charge would be worth it. Now I have a speeding ticket instead. The staff is on top of everything and everyone is pleasant to work with.

Joseph Dean worked very well by phone n email with us as we were long distance, his assistant Lisa was very good to use answering every question n email when ,Mr.Dean was available, his services were amazing very straight forward no run around or mis communication, if u need a lawyer dont think twice he is the one to defend you. Great experience. They were able to drop my misdemeanor charge down to faulty equipment. They were very helpful considering that I lived out of state. Mr. Remington’s staff was friendly and helpful and explained everything ever step of the way. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing a traffic court lawyer.

Riley & Wells were able to get my traffic offenses dismissed. They made me feel comfortable throughout the process and we're clear about things I could do to help my case. I would certainly use them again if needed. Only issue I had was the communication after payment was sparse until a couple of weeks before my court date. This could have been that my case was easy enough and didn't warrant a lot of communication, but I was left unease for a bit.

Mitch Wells and his Assistant, Kristin, were wonderful to work with. I am from out of state and was traveling through Virginia when I was pulled going 84/70. Mr. Wells was able to convince the judge to reduce my charge to defective equipment. Mr. Wells provided me with peace of mind and confidence that they would take care of me and followed through! The fee is not bad either compared to some of the other offices I looked into. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for help with a speeding ticket. A+++
