While returning to NJ from SC, my wife was cited for doing 81 in a 70 and while we actually going nowhere near 81 mph, we were not overly confident in our ability to fight the charge from such a long distance. We contacted Riley & Wells, provided the details and they were able to help us lower the charge to a non moving violation, which was a huge help. We had several VA plates in front of us, moving faster, and several behind and still the officer pulled us out of the group. (NJ Plates) Something needs to be done about the dishonest way that the State of VA rakes in 100+ million a year in fines on the backs of out of state motorists. Thanks to Riley & Wells, at least we have a fighting chance! Hopewell, VA alone on a 2 mile stretch of 295 issues over 1000 speeding tickets per month and generate roughly 1.8 million per year for their town. The only problem is, folks like us were not speeding at the rates they claim and they know that most are passing through and have to either hire an attorney or eat crow and pay the fines. Until it changes, please keep fighting for the people getting the shaft! Thank you!

Fantastic experience. An incident with my dog caused unintended acceleration resulting in exceeding the posted limit by a lot. The Wells firm took my case and got the changes dismissed as long as I complete an 8 hour online driving course, which I am doing. I trusted them and they came through possibly in part to my excellent driving record prior to this unfortunate and freak incident

We recently had to engage Riley and Wells regarding a traffic citation (81 in a 70 MPH along the I-85 corridor) our daughter received while driving back to her college in VA. I appreciate their professionalism and diligent work in getting our her citation reduced to defective equipment. They did a fabulous job in preventing her from having points placed on her license (which would have meant a BIG increase in her premiums). I was driving home from family vacation and cited with going 81 in a 70 mph highway. It wasn't until hours later that I realized just how serious this was regarding my previously clean driving record and my insurance and possibly affect a future job as I have just enrolled back into school. Back in May 2016, I was driving through Virginia for a family vacation. I am from NC, so I am very unfamiliar with the roads in VA. I was driving down one highway and got stopped, and was given a ticket for reckless driving! I was freaking out!! I was recommended to Riley & Wells by a lawyer here in NC.
