My wife and I contacted the Johnson Gasink & Baxter firm as a referral from a close friend who used their services. We were interested in establishing a living trust and did our homework prior to our consultation with Spencer Baxter. We went to his office for an initial meeting and explained our perceived goals . Spencer reviewed our desired plan and made suggestions on areas of estate planning that we had not even thought of, and put together a comprehensive trust plan that covered all of our needs. He and his team gave us a thorough overview of the working aspects of the entire trust package and assured future access to answer any questions that we may have. We are very pleased with the professionalism, the meticulous trust package, and the patience given in explaining each and every aspect of our estate plan. Mr. Baxter and his associates did a good job putting together a Living Trust for my wife and me. He did a thorough job explaining all the intricacies inherent in a trust and the benefits of that method of estate planning versus a will. He took the time to answer all of our questions and at no time did we feel rushed or hurried. We recommend Mr. Baxter without any hesitation.

We have had our trust done and revised 3 times. This is the first time we felt that all details of a well constructed trust was considered and covered. Spencer met with us twice. The first was on a Zoom call where we discussed what we needed and details about each aspect of the trust. He explained pros and cons and made recommendations that he felt would be best for our family trust. The second time we met in person to sign the documents for the trust. He also included a section for us to list details regarding our daily business dealings to assist in administering the trust when it became necessary. For the first time we feel that our trust covers all of our needs.

Spencer Baxter was able to take me through the advantages of a trust versus a standard will and dealing with probate. My children are not able to carry out the duties of a trustee so having Spencer act as the successor trustee was a great relief. He has worked with me to craft all needed documents for end of life, medical directives, etc. Everyone at JG&B are very professional and quick to help. I especially like being part of their Trust Guard program as well.

Helped us understand what or why a Trust is beneficial. I had it in my head that Trusts were only for the very wealthy - but after reviewing with Spencer realized it was a great tool for our household as we have family all over the country and how we could make the process much easier for them in case of a tragic accident. Spencer patiently walked us through the Trust process and created a document that provides for all of the contingencies that we listed. He and his paralegals were available at all times and knowledgeable of our personal circumstances and concerns. The complicated document was made easier with the checklist and homework items listed for us to work through. We used Zoom and a meeting at the Williamsburg office to create our Trust.
