If I could give this a 0 I would. He must have family members or neighbors writting these reviews. He is the absolute worst public defender I have EVER encountered. Not meeting until the day of court, sitting out in the waiting room, unprepared, rude, egotistical man has so sense in the world practicing law. If you hire him, beexpected to go to jail. Do NOT waste your money. The people in the waiting room was saying the same exact thing about him. Worst lawyer of all time.

Mr Schottmiller has not only been my champion and advocate, he has selflessly provided me with the best legal protection available. He is hard working and driven by ideals that PEOPLE should come first!. He is equal parts savvy, adaptable, passionate and knowledgeable. If you work with Mr Schottmiller he will go above and beyond for you and treat you with dignity and respect. I cannot recommend him high enough!

My wife's car was totaled right in front of our house. (The car was unoccupied at the time.) The insurance company of the driver who hit the car offered far less than the car was worth. Matt did a great job representing our interests and succeeded in getting a very fair deal for us.
