She lost my case

Both Janet and Ms Kym were amazing, my case went just as I prayed it would and got what was best for my children accomplished. Thank you!

I would not recommend. There were many times I had to remind her she represented me and not the other party because she prioritized getting any information THEY requested over what I needed before court. I also had the exact same experience another client posted for their review, despite stressing that we needed to ask for child and spousal support she said, we can ask for that during your divorce case and waited until right before we were about to walk into court to run the paperwork up to the clerks office so not only did we not get that set but because paperwork had not been submitted until the last minute I was ordered to pay the other parties attorneys fees. The only time she was quick to make sure I recieved paperwork was when I went to sign off to end her representation as my lawyer. I was told I owed her thosands of dollars and because my retainer had been used up and when asked why this was the first time I was hearing about this was told "we've been emailing the bills to you" despite me repeatedly informing her I was having issues recieving emails. The multiple times I was in her office there was no mention that she was now billing me well after and that my retainer was used up. Instead I was handed a large envelope on the spot that was as thick as a book listing billed hours. You are better off handing your money directly to the other party and saving yourself the time and frustration.

I highly recommend Janet. Not only did she essentially win my case but she was there for me emotionally and mentally through the agonizing months of the divorce process. With another lawyer things may have gone a direction I didn’t want them to go. But they her hard work and dedication to my case I came out the other side the victor and happy. She’s a great person and a great lawyer.

A hard family situation was handled better than we anticipated. The outcome was done quickly and ended exactly as we had hoped. Ms boyd was always able to be reached and when she wasn’t her staff was always there every step of the way.

I have worked for Janet for 10 years, and I can honestly say that I have never been a witness to anyone answering the phone in a rude manor. I felt compelled to get this out considering the two reviews, almost during the same time period, saying the same thing about being rude on the phone. Let's be honest here, does rude gain clients? As for clients, a lot of factors go into the judge's decisions, and a client's credibility can tank quite quickly when they are not being honest.

I had a tough divorce case that included property and lasted almost two years. Ms. Boyd was effective and Kym was very helpful in all they did. I appreciate their help throughout the process.

Please, don't use her services, I worked in my case by myself and she charged me a lot of money, also she never updated my case with me . I have to call her every time and she changed for that phone calls. She is an incompetent lawyer.

I tried to go at my child support case on my own for years and constantly received the short end of the stick. My ex wife takes me to court every year because she can. She is always trying to get more money from me. I got a letter three days before court from my ex wife's attorney saying they are asking the court for me to pay all of my ex wife's attorney fees due to me sending incomplete answers over a 3 month process. I went to Ms. Boyd with everything I had and she took my case surprisingly 2 days before the court day. She got the case continued and three months later I won the case. I was completely shocked at how the results came out. She knew what she was doing and went to bat for me with the facts. I told her everything and provided what she asked for in a timely manner. She is straight forward and honest. I highly recommended her and her staff April and Kym are great as well. They are a well oiled machine. If she can help you she will.

At first I really thought I had found the best attorney. Just to hire her and then on our second meeting she is falling asleep while I am talking to her. I thought maybe she was just tired. Well after spending money that I don't have to spend. She was supposed to get me spousal support. But my Wonderful attorney forgot to request the income for my other half. Not only that but she she didn't even call them to the stand to cross exam. The judge denied it because there was no income to go by. Ms. Boyd promised that she would appeal it and request the information this time. Just to appeal it and still not request the information two day before court. The call me wanting to withdraw it and file it again. I was so upset. What a waste of money and time. Good thing I recorded ever conversation. I will be filing a claim with the bar on this matter. I feel like she doesn't know what the hell she is doing. When you have to ask the other attorney representing my spouse what you should do . You should not be working if you can't help people or know what you are doing. If you need an attorney please don't you this woman . The biggest mistake I ever made. But I liked Kim she seems to know more. But if I could give a zero I would also.
