David Albo was a miracle worker when it came to my DUI case. He is very knowledgeable in the Virginia DUI laws and was extremely helpful to me throughout the entire process. Actually he was court appointed/pro bono, and was amazing. My previous lawyer was strongly recommending I take a plea for something I didn't do. Then in court based on his opening argument I dismissed said attorney, and Judge recused himself and set me up with David Albo. I went into his office, he listened, he laid out the possibilities, worst to best scenarios, and the best scenario happened. I never had to appear in court again and charges were dropped with prejudice. So if that was my experience as someone who had no money at the time just having come back from military. Can only imagine his service where he is billing the work. No shock that he had all these 5 stars, it's what I'd have expected.

After getting a ticket for going over 80 mph on the Dulles Toll Road in VA, which is a major offense in that state, a friend recommended I contact and retain Dave to represent me in this case. I cannot be happier that I listened to my friend. Dave was very easy to work with: he explained the charges, told me what I would need to do, and about all the potential outcomes. He was also helpful when I told him that I would not be able to attend my hearing date as I would be out of the country at that time. Ultimately, we worked with the prosecutor and got my charges reduced to regular speeding (going 74) and a fine. Again, I could not be happier with the outcome. I would recommend Dave to anyone else who has to go through this stressful process!!

David is incredibly experienced with the Virginia DUI and Refusal laws, having been involved in their creation during his time in government. This knowledge along with his professional relationships and outside of the box thinking enabled him to reach the best possible outcome of my case. The case consisted of a single car vehicle accident, and arrest for refusal to submit to a field sobriety or breathalyzer tests. Resulting in both a 1st DUI charge and Refusal (Civil charge resulting in 1 year suspended license). David was able to have the Refusal dropped, and DUI reduced to a reckless driving infraction, without the requirement of having an interlock device or the completion of VASAP class. His outside of the box thinking allowed for us to receive the approval of the court to utilize an external treatment program, which was critical as I frequently work out of state and would have been unable to attend a local course and would have had to forfeit my ability to drive for a full year. The entire experience with David was exceptional, his availability and response time (even late in the evenings) was beyond my expectations and helped to assuage the anxiety of what was a first arrest. Highly recommended!

Got a “driving too fast for condition” I’m from out of state. Was amazed that Virginia allowes law enforcement officials to determine a criminal charge based on what I see as purely emotion. They can issue this type of ticket even if you are going under the posted speed limit. Needless to say- I needed a Lawyer! David was a referral. I have the mindset that is immediately suspect of a lawyer or a doctor who is trolling for business. He does have a website and I recommend visiting it. He knows the law, is straight forward and sincere in his approach. Most importantly, he represented my ‘reckless driving’ charge in my absence, got those charges dropped and I ended up with a simple speeding ticket! It pains me to say this about any lawyer, however in David’s case- his services were worth every penny. This is the most sincere recommendation I can provide. We hired Mr. Albo on a recommendation from a friend who had also hired him and had a positive experience. Like our friend, we too had a positive experience with Dave Albo. 3 charges. 2 Class 1 misdemeanors (Up to 12 months jail and/or $2500), 1 Class 4 misdemeanor. Ended up with the best case scenario, all charges dropped for a lesser charge (Trespass). Trespass charge to be dismissed with the completion of an anger management class and 6 months probation. Dave was very helpful in this process. I will recommend him to anyone.

Mister albo preformed something for me that is extremely uncommon in the state. He got my felony charges dropped straight to community service.
