We found Mr. Wani through a friend's reference and approached him for adjustment of status case for my wife. He explained us the process, reviewed the application and his office kept us posted on USCIS notifications. After 11 months when we didn't get the interview appointment, his office enquired with USCIS and within a couple of weeks, we got the interview letter. He explained the interview process in detailed and answered all our questions and documents to bring to the interview. Our interview was 2 hours behind schedule, but Mr. Wani sat patiently with us and was in the interview when we were called in. We had a great experience and would highly recommend Mr. Wani for your immigration needs.

I would recommend Portner & Shure to those looking for honest legal representation. Jimena (paralegal) and Simran (lawyer) were professional, responsive, and transparent about the process. I felt they cared about me and my case and did the best they could to represent my best interests.

Wani Mumtaz is very unprofessional and only cares about making money. He does not care about client values or relationship at all. The first consultation I had with him, the first thing he asked me is to pay his fees and he would not move forward until I paid. He uses his religion to attract muslim clients and lets his front desk associates and family member that barely speaks English and with no immigration background fill out the forms. they submitted my application did not tell me that certain documents will not be accepted or additional documents will be required. for a lawyer with many years of experience that works with immigration cases all the time, you would assume he will tell you exactly what documents you need and other supporting documents. Because of his incompetent, my case took more than two years to get approved by USCIS and that's only because I contacted the USCIS office almost every week. I will never do business with Wani again and highly recommend others to find a different lawyer.
