I am very pleased with the Services of Attorney Lisa Bertini. She patiently listened to my concerns. She understood the Law as it pertained to my situation and developed a strategic plan to resolve my issue. She was proactive in carrying out the Professional Services that she committed herself to. And, as my Legal Advocate, she went the extra-mile, and exceeded my expectations.

After enduring 8 months of extreme job stress and a forced resignation, I sought Ms. Bertini's advice and counseling on how to proceed. She and her staff were very welcoming and seemed genuinely sincere in their interest in my issues. I was able to have a very professional and honest discussion with Ms. Bertini on what my legal rights were due to my unfair work situation. While ultimately things were not pursued further, I felt like my case was thoroughly reviewed and adequately discussed. She helped me to walk out with my head held higher feeling better about myself, my past work situation, and my future after my session. I would not hesitate to refer (and already have referred) others to Ms Bertini and her staff for help when you need someone on your side to sort out difficult work questions.

Lisa and her team were incredible to work with. She was very thorough with my employment discrimination claim, very communicative, always open to email questions, and she would call me instantly with updates. While I was so nervous and anxious reaching out to Ms. Bertini since I had never been in a situation like I was, she was professional, understanding, and sympathetic from the start. I instantly felt comfortable. She had read and educated herself on what I had sent prior to talking with her so our conversation jumped right into her thoughts and legal stance of my situation. She was honest and told me exactly what was fair and reassured how I felt and what I was entitled to. I am about as thorough as it gets. Always measuring twice and cutting once. I vetted and met with two attorneys before Lisa and in the end, I went with her. After losing my job, I found myself in VERY unfamiliar territory. I've never sued (or held accountable) any company before and thought to take a softer approach, as that's just me. But, during my vetting, I initially passed up on Lisa as she seemed a bit aggressive. What a mistake! After meeting with attorney #2, they looked at my case and expressed that it was going to be a 'tough needle to thread'. In the same meeting, they shared that they were also pretty conservative. Immediately, I realized that's not what I needed. After all, I wasn't released from my job with a 'conservative' approach. I needed a 'pitbull in a skirt'. I then revisited Lisa. She excited me during our first meeting sharing that she does what she does to look out for those taken advantage of. There was nothing about my case that was 'tough to thread' to her. She immediately found the injustice. She was assertive, she and her team were always very responsive, and she was also very honest, even when it stung when educating me about any challenges. She was charming, witty, courageous, and always, always, always very strategic! This was someone who I needed on my team! (You need her on your team too!) Honestly, one of the BEST arsenals in my toolbelt! After navigating through the muck, she quickly got me what I respectively deserved! To this day I am more than satisfied. I supposed it's like they say, the third time's the charm! Lisa, thank you for all that you did to help me and my family, as they were impacted as well. But, especially for doing what you do every day!

Most importantly, Lisa gave me great advice throughout the process that comes from her many years of experience. I felt my matter was handled thoroughly and aggressively, and Lisa was always available when I needed her. While I did not accomplish everything I had hoped with my situation, I made that decision fully informed of the risks and rewards of pursuing the matter further. I was faced with what I perceived was an unfair business practice, and resigned. After the dust settled, the reality of my decision became clear and I was worried. I constantly worried about if I made the right decision or not.I spoke with a trusted colleague who was concerned that I might be leaving options on the table and encouraged me to speak with an attorney. I reached out to 2 locally, 2 north of where I live, and 2 by referral. Either I never heard back from the attorneys, or they had a conflict of interest. However, the 7th one, Ms. Bertini was the charm! I had resolved to give up, but instead gave her office a call. The receptionist was on top of things! She heard my dilemma, was empathetic and patient and quickly jumped to get me an appointment the VERY same day. She also assisted me with being succinct in my description of my dilemma (what a time and money saver). Within an hour, Ms. Bertini reviewed my materials and asked questions, and followed up with me in a very short amount of time. I would’ve remained in doubt about if I made the right decision and left anything behind, she gave me the clarity and closure I needed to move forward in my next venture.
