I was charged with making an illegal turn on Hampton Blvd in Norfolk, Va and I asked CJ Vandervelde to handle my case. That was the best decision that I could have made. CJ is a very competent Attorney and the kind of person that anyone would want to advocate on their behalf. She was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had with regard to the process of the traffic court system. CJ knows how to nuance her arguments to advocate for your best interests while at the same time not alienating the judge, a rare and dangerous combination. Most attorneys love the sound of their own voice and they just talk and talk and talk but CJ understands that we were born with 2 ears and one mouth; so she listens twice as much as she talks, what a concept!
