Hello everyone "My experience with the Gardner Mendoza law firm was extremely disappointing. As a Turkish hairdresser working in the United States, I sought their assistance in applying for a Green Card. I initially paid $725 just for the consultation but it turned out to be a complete waste. It was only for 1 hour. During the meeting, they stated that the cost of their services would be over 15,000 dollars, and it was a high amount for me. Not because it was high, but because the issue was unclear. Do we need to make our voices heard here to get help? Why don't people be sensitive in their work, understand the people and the situation, and do their job? So should we go to a Turkish lawyer so that they can understand us? Why don't people understand each other here and who should we ask for help here? If we do not get help from a lawyer, who do we ask for help here? Did you call us later? Did they care much? After discussing the fee with my employer, we decided to end our cooperation. However, I did not get what I paid for the $725 and they did not help me in any way afterwards. This situation not only affected me financially but also shook my trust in their services. As a person of Turkish descent, I was deeply disappointed with the services provided by Gardner Mendoza law firm. "I do not recommend it, especially to Turkish citizens, my student friends living here, and other immigrants."

I was charged top dollar for bare minimum services. My initial consultation seemed to go well and my Wife and I decided to pay the law firm to help us with a FOIA request in order to get exact details about our situation, because we had missing documents. The cost was $1000, I figured the cost was worth it because I would have an attorney knowledgeable about how to get all the information and to give me advice after the paperwork was received. The law firm didn’t submit requests to all the proper agencies to get all of the information, and didn’t inform me that there are other agencies that we would need to submit FOIA requests too in order to get all of the information. While waiting for the FOIA to process I reached out to the attorney at the law firm that my case was passed off too, I was interested in getting things started while waiting for the FOIA. I was previously told would cost $6000 to get things started. I was told I would receive a phone call and instead got an email saying that my phone number wasn’t working, but everyone else I know had no problem calling my phone. I was then told through email that in order to proceed with my case it would cost $15,000. I was told in the initial consultation that we would need the information from the FOIA in order to know what waivers are required, but all of a sudden the law firm knows what needs to be done after I paid $1000 for a FOIA that we hadn’t received yet. What I really am disappointed about is the fact that I came to a professional and paid to get legal advice and try to learn about the process and my options to move forward and now after speaking to other attorneys it appears that the process was not fully explained to me in detail so that I could make a decision. Precious time was wasted because of this. I got the impression that these attorneys want $250 every time they speak with you, even after you’ve already paid them a fee to do a specific service for you. I worked with a different attorney who got the FOIA process completed for me and all of the documents came back in about 2 weeks. I paid $1000 to Gardner and Mendoza and had to wait 6 months for them to get not even half of the documents that we needed. They also didn’t tell me that I could have filed the I-130 for my wife and got that approval before I even needed to worry about any waiver. My I-130 took over a year to get approved and this law firm wasted about a year of my time. I could have been so much further along in the process of if I hadn’t dealt with this law firm. This law firm didn’t care about actually helping me, I could never reach anyone to discuss anything after paying them $1000 to file for a freedom of information act on my behalf and they didn’t even file to get all of the documents. This firm only wants your money and doesn’t care even a little bit about clients.

The whole staff was extremely friendly and very easy to deal with. Mrs Kistler and staff made my whole divorce extremely easy and were open about the whole process. I highly recommend for an honest, unbiased attorney.

Everyone at this office was friendly and professional. My phone calls and emails were all answered and/or returned very promptly. And, I felt like I was in capable hands throughout the time I worked with K. Page Kistler P.C. and team. I am very satisfied, and I would highly recommend.
