Mrs. Fuller and her staff are absolutely the best. Mrs. Fuller will personally go out of her way to help you in any possible way. She responds to your needs at all times of the day and will do everything she can to ensure that no matter the details of your case or needs that she will do what needs to get done!! I have been working with her now for 5 years and wouldn’t change her or her team in for no one else!!!!!

Divorce is always frustrating, even in the best circumstances. I was getting nowhere with my previous attorney, and a friend of mine recommended Barbara. Barbara jumped right in, sending letters to the opposing counsel, and filing the proper paperwork in court. She did not let them ignore her anymore. Not everyone likes her, she’s smooth on the court floor, walks in like she owns the place. I walked out of the courtroom with her and other attorneys recognized her in the parking lot. She’s sharp, keeps your goals in mind and knows when to let something go or chase after it. Barbara’s team works! Need an email answered quick? Her assistant, Sommer can handle it - or she’ll forward it to Barbara, Laura, or Stephanie if there’s a question that involves legal advice. A quick call to Tina will get you up to speed on the status of your requests. I’ve never gone more than a weekend without getting an email response. Barbara doesn’t coddle you, but when you need a lawyer who can gain traction and not lose ground, she’s the one to have. I’m grateful that my friends knew what they were talking about when they recommended her.

Barbara was my attorney in my divorce, I met a bunch of divorce lawyers and then I called her office and spoke to her and knew just by her tone and willingness to answer some questions I had upfront, that she was the best. She answered all of my questions day or night and weekends and was always more than happy to help. She got me exactly what I wanted and the other side of my divorce was difficult to say the least. I would highly recommend her!

Ms. Fuller replaced my previous representation, because they were less than appropriate for my case (Divorce, assault, and protective order). She swooped in as if she had been on the case from the beginning. Her performance was and is nothing short of stellar! She has a small team, (Laura, and Tina) but they carry a big stick! She protected my reputation while simultaneously, getting the results I was seeking. Very mild mannered and kind, but aggressive on your behalf when she needs to be. I couldn't be in better hands. If you ever need an attorney who will stand up for and keep you in the loop of your case; Barbara Fuller and her team will in my opinion are the best choice. I promise you will not be disappointed.

----------------------------------**BEWARE**---------------------------------------- The WORST lawyer/firm in Hampton Roads. Barbara is almost impossible to get a hold of even though she claims email is "the best" way to get a hold of her, she NEVER responds. I retained her in December. Called her several times with no call back. Emailed her 4 times with inquiries, updates and information about my child custody case...... NO REPLY! On my court date, she walked right past me outside the courtroom and said nothing. My soon-to-be ex-wife's lawyer said more words to me than Barbara did. In the courtroom, she proved she doesn't read emails by attacking my wife's ability as a mother. Had she read the emails or even listened to what I said, the visitation matter had already been agreed upon prior to court. I only need her to argue one issue and I pretty much handed her some arguing points that she completely disregarded. She just further complicated things instead of arguing the points I paid her to argue. Her paralegal Laura may be the ONLY competent being at this firm. She at least lets you know she forwards your emails to Barbara. Tina, the receptionist is a waste of space. She is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. She is unhelpful and on multiple occasions, has changed the topic of our conversations to talking about the weather outside or something else irrelevant to shadow the fact she has no business working there, OR MAYBE SHE'S RIGHT WHERE SHE BELONGS AT THIS GOOD FOR NOTHING FIRM. Laura, get out while you can and protect your name!!

Legal warrior!!! Shes good at her job knows the laws etc. I went in hopeless and left the court room with all 3 of my kids. Shes very caring about her clients as well. I would definitely reccomend her to anyone. She is also LGBT friendly

I had a JDR case that she took a trip to Cancun in the middle of, without letting me know. Could not get in contact with her for long periods while she was representing me. I had to write my own document up to go to court because i could not find her.. She then surfaced, came to final court date, and after said she was entitled double the original amount. 6,000+ $ for an undisputed JDR case. I said no way.. She waited 7 years and then sued me for $8,000+ stay away from this firm. CROOKS!!!

Barbara Fuller is the best attorney money can buy. I retained Barbara as my divorce attorney in 2012. Thanks to Barbara, I divorced my wife without having to pay spousal support, I maintained custody of my two daughters, I kept my vehicles, I kept my home, and I did not have to pay my spouse any of my military retirement (even after serving in the military 24 years and being married 19 years). I am enjoying my life today with my two daughters thanks to the hard work Barbara put in while working in my defense. I strongly recommend Barbara to anyone in need of an attorney with exceptional skill.
