Nicole Thurston did an outstanding job as my attorney during a recent contested custody battle. Knowledgeable, compassionate and energetic, I appreciated Nicole’s sage counsel during an incredibly difficult and anxious time in my life after I received a summons from my children’s mother attempting to turn me into an every-other-weekend father. Nicole provided excellent guidance and successfully navigated me through the heretofore unfamiliar minefield of family law. I achieved my desired outcome and successfully defended against the petition served upon me. I quickly discovered there are no absolutes in the field of family law, much is open to interpretation i.e. “you never know what will happen in court.” The outcome of one’s case will depend heavily upon the skill and experience of the attorney you choose to represent you. Nicole’s skill and experience are impeccable and I was glad to have her on my side through this process.

She served as guide, counselor, and confidant during this extended journey. Performed amazingly as my advocate with excellent skills at explaining complex legalese in everyday terms. She has a remarkable sense of humor that was handy when explaining difficult topics, and useful to diffuse stressful situations. I appreciated the teams followup on questions and developing requirements, usually on that same day, with quality answers complete with details in clear and concise communications. Nicole and her team provided ability to carry on with life, a value that cannot be put into dollars or commodity. I would recommend her services to anyone I know that wants to play hardball, yet play fairly and meet their obligations. You will not find better talent that wants, and practically needs, your success to be assured- that’s what I paid for, and her services permit me to walk away with my head held high and a clear conscience.

Nicole handled my divorce, she was professional and detailed. If I had a question it was usually answered the same day. In court she was very professional, had all details and was fully ready to represent me. I could not have asked for a better attorney to represent me!

Nicole was amazing to work with for my son's adoption finalization. She was extremely personable, always responded quickly to any questions, calls, or emails, and extremely nice! She made the final stages of our adoption journey amazing!

Since my son's birth, I have had to fight for every opportunity to be a father in his life. It is unbelievably hard to receive equality as a man in the legal system when pertaining to custody and/or visitation of a child. Against these odds, Nicole has been by my side through through the lengthy legal process; guiding, encouraging, and fighting for justice. Her professionalism and knowledge of the law is the only reason that I have the ability to be a father to my son. There is no price that one can put on the joy of parenthood and Nicole brought this joy into my life. Ms. Thurston is an intelligent and strong woman and I would recommend her services to anyone needing a voice in the courtroom.

It still breaks my heart that I used Ms. Thurston as a lawyer. At first, she was thought to be a great pick for a lawyer but after a while, the truth was revealed. She never listened to me. She made comments that seemed like she was listening but she would always do what she thought was the right thing verses helping her client. When I went to her on a couple occasions to talk about what was not working, she would defend herself like she was in court by saying, "Well you said....". I hired a lawyer but all I received was a mediocre mediator that lacked the ability to negotiate. She is a very nice person and on the surface seems like hitting the jackpot when it comes to lawyers but if she was a heart surgeon, I wouldn't be here today.
