I can't say enough about how pleased I am to be working with this firm. So pleased in fact that I have moved all my legal business to them, both personal and professional. They are knowledgeable and work with their clients to educate them so you can be fully informed and make the best decisions possible. Another benefit of working with them is that they are non alarmists, always calm and supportive. If that isn't enough one of the favorite things is they don't, "milk the bill"!

Spent months trying to find a lawyer in the northern Virginia/DC area to help with legal issues for a resort we have located in Virginia using my local (northern Illinois) contacts, however not one lawyer I called would call me back. I turned to the internet and found Mark Williams & Associates, PLC, namely Scott Hook. The office returned my call immediately, which was a huge bonus. I flew out, met Scott and has been a great partnership since. Scott answers all our questions, prepares all our necessary documents in a prompt and efficient manner. Would not have survived the last year and half without him!

Throughout the divorce, Alyssa grounded me to what the issues were, instead of continually fighting over the false acusations made. Even though the Juvenile court is minimalistic on the fathers parental and visitation rights, my visitation was fought for by Alyssa and I recieved more than was typically given with such a confrontational spouse. After finalizing the divorce, Alyssa is still representing me in child support issues where the ex refuses to work. As we step through the child support court processes, Alyssa is guiding me through it with her knowledge of the courts and what is required to do to correctly set both our fiscal responsibilities for the children.

My experience with Scott Hook of Mark B. Williams & Associates was gratifying and reassuring. At our initial meeting he was most gracious and helped to relieve my anxiety. I had never been summoned to court and did not know what to expect. He outlined the procedures and discussed all aspects of the case. I was not hurried through all of this, and his patience with me was outstanding. I left feeling I had the best representative possible.

When seeking a Family Law Attorney, Alyssa Phillips, is one of the best!!! Our experience with her was top notch. Alyssa was professional, informative, and cared about each individual associated with the case. During the trial, Alyssa showed her professionalism not only to us, her clients, but the other attorneys involved as well as the judge. Going into this case, Alyssa made it clear to us what was expected and worked very hard. We did not actually win our grandparent case, but without Alyssa's excellent representation, we could not have gotten close. The final outcome was favorable to our son, who now has custody and our grandson is currently out of harms way.

I had Alyssa ratify my divorce decree and also had her represented me on a visitation issue; where we had to take my ex to court because she violated the court ordered divorce decree that referenced visitation. I found her extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and she has a way of keeping things in perspective, in the court room, she is very diligent and I felt very comfortable relying on her expertise.
