No fault divorce attorney for sure. Never wanted to go in front of a judge for me. Big waste of money and set me back years in my case.

I recently retained Miss Forrest for a family law matter. Before we began to discuss the particulars of my case, I had informed her of my "lack of faith" in the legal system after receiving some bad legal advice from a different family law attorney. Not only did Miss Forrest listened tentatively to my concerns, she explained to me in easy to follow details of the process we were about to embark on, and assured me that she will keep me informed of any and all progress or developments as soon as they occur. Family law matters on its own can be a very mentally and emotionally draining on any person having to go through such processes. Miss Forrest consistently remained the voice of reason to me and before she came to me with a "problem or development" she had prepared several potential solutions to present to me. She is honest and strait forward. Her knowledge of family law and parental rights are outstanding and her knowledge of the entire court system where my case was held at, is equally impressive. In all of my years as a professional who is accustomed to having to handle numerous types of challenges in unfamiliar territory, I am extremely grateful to have had Shannon Forrest navigate and guide my way through this.

Heather is by far the best Attorney around! she has handled 2 cases for me thus far one of which being a very nasty child custody and support case which she went above and beyond for me. She was very prepared with all my information and got the results i was looking for. We had to appear in court many times and each time she was ready! She is also handling a child adoption case for me now and is absolutely amazing. Ms. Pedersen is an excellent attorney who extensive experience in child custody cases. She is everything you want in a lawyer especially in highly emotional family law matters.

Updated...three years later and back in court I have been a client with Mrs. Pedersen for 6 years. She is an angel sent from heaven. Her attention to detail, understanding how I process things (I have an engineer mind), and what my children truly needed were game changers in my case. She knew my 6 year case inside and out when we had our most recent trial a month ago. She prepared me and told me what to expect. This helped calm my nerves so much on trial day. Not only did she help me gain freedom from my controlling high ranking military officer ex husband but she was also able to get the bogus show causes he filed against me dropped. Her hard work and dedication to my case helped decrease visitation with my ex. Which was remarkable and a huge win as he filed for sole custody. Whenever someone is looking for a divorce attorney I always recommend Mrs. Pedersen and her team! From April 2017 Ms. Pedersen did an amazing job with my divorce and custody case. She paid attention to detail, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Heather Pedersen and her staff are always extremely professional and responsive, even to the numerous developments in my case (and my tendency to overreact). Mrs. Pedersen handled my Custody/Visitation Pre-Hearing Settlement Conference with steadfast resolve, which resulted in almost everything that I sought. She always provides not just the answer that I am expecting, or hoping, but also what she believes is the probable outcome, whether I want to hear it or not (and she has been right every time). Rude, will not answer or return phone calls, bad email address and bad divorce advice. Not associated with the BBB. My ex was misled and bull dogged several times through our divorce just so they could run up the bill. If you really want to be intimidated and waste money then go ahead.
