Very unprofessional. Cancels appointments at last minute and not very helpful. I'd advise seeking another attorney before contact this firm if you need assistance timely. I called this firm to schedule a consultation regarding a court order that my husband has in place. The legal insurance is in my name and i spoke with the receptionist and scheduled the appointment and sent the info. I have the email thread as confirmation. My complaint is that our appt was cancelled last minute due to the attorney not reviewing the info that was sent until an hour before the appt. We informed them that there were safety issues and we were immediate need of legal advice and the appt was still cancelled. So...as I initially stated if someone is looking for legal assistance timely, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!

Kate Van Hooser and her team were Excellent! Kate helped my family with a long custody case and we couldn't have gone through it without her patience and professionalism. She was always comforting and made what could have been a stressful situation, less stressful. With that we won and now our family is whole again! I have nothing but positive things to go on and on about regarding my time with Van Hooser & Aguirre, P.C. The office staff is terrific, the smile can be heard over the phone and the not one, but two notaries in the office is very helpful to clients. Estate planning? Attorney Van Hooser is terrific and thorough! Need a Guardian ad litem for your child? Attorney Aguirre is the best and will work hard on their behalf. Five Stars!

My father is hospitalized set an appointment confirmed appointment then I arrived office manager said sorry the attorney had no time. No compassion or ethics!!!

I would suggest you try someone else. I had David help me out with my case. Let me first start out by saying I didn't know anything about courts and how lawyers work at all. I've been to court for a speeding ticket and you don't need a lawyer for that. I came to Dave to help with with my divorce and child custody and support. He was great at first. Butterfly and sunshine were the words that came out of his mouth. Now that I think about it, more like a car sales man. He knew from the beginning what the plan was. He knew I was in it to win it. So he explains everything to me, we do the paper work and I cut that check for what they requested. Long story short, at the end we were no where near where I wanted to be or the picture he painted in my head the first meeting. My bill came out to almost 5,000. I was very upset with the bill and how my case turned out. I did not like how he handle my case. Since I don't know nothing about this stuff I request that him and all the owner meet with me. I want an explanation on what happen and a brake down of my bills. I request from David and the office manager for time to go over everything. None wanted to meet with me. I just spent 5,000 with you, I have questions, I'm upset. I own my own company. If one of my clients is upset I would meet with them and try to fix this. I felt like they just cared more about the money then me or my case. When I started out this sounded like it was easy from what David said. Once we were half way with my case the lawyer said I need an extra 10k if you want me to do what you want. I told him why didn't you tell me that from the start. I felt like our conversations and time spent was more to milk the clock. I would suggest to go else where. I am a very understanding person. I really don't want to do this review, but I feel if they don't care, then I won't care. I care enough to let people know to look else where. Do your research and if you work with any lawyer ask for them to update you every time they are going to bill you. I felt like he could of charged me anything and I was stuck. Once again, do your home work and check out the reviews for the lawyer your working with. Good luck.

It is the worse place ever they treated me so bad after I paid them $5000 and the lady at the front who answers the phone is so rude she never help me and when I talk to her she hung up on me the office still owe me money and they don't want to give it back to me after I finish my case I been asking for the rest of my money for about 1 month and they never give it back to me I totally don't recommend this place I had enough stress on my divorce and this office cost me more depression they are a con people and I don't trust them

After retaining this law firm I found Kate Van Hooser to be dishonest,unethical and incompetent. I would not recommend using this law firm.

Attorney Kate Van Hooser is incredibly knowledgeable in many aspects of Family Law. Her real life approach assisted me in making the right decision for myself moving forward with my case. She made herself available anytime I needed to speak with her. Ease of making appointments through her legal assistant was also a huge bonus. The retainer cost is clear-cut and the office manager provides me with detailed invoices of the breakdown of my charges incurred. She was great at keeping me "in-line" during one of the worst times of my life. Kate always helped me look at the bigger picture and I never once doubted her ability to carry me through this. She spent tireless hours on my case with a VERY positive outcome. I highly recommend this firm for any type of Family Law issue.

Start to finish the whole experience was smooth, well-executed, and explicitly explained. Having legal issues is exacerbating in itself. Start to finish the entire staff has been extremely helpful from the office manager Cristina to my attorney Kate. They were always readily available to answer questions and assist me in scheduling appointments. Retainer rate is fair to other attorneys and law firms in the area. I have been very pleased with the services rendered. I hope to never have to use them again but if I do, this firm will be on top of my list.
