Ms. Cassandra Chin was my attorney for my divorce. I feel very lucky to have Ms. Chin guided me through this very difficult period. Early on, she laid out the best path forward and strategy for upcoming legal process since my divorce involves two different state jurisdictions. She kept close contact with my other attorney in different state to make the process smooth and minimize the negative effects on me. She was thorough, timely and always was available to answer questions. Due to her diligent effort, the legal process in another state was shortened by several months - her accuracy and timing has saved me time and money. I was seeking a new lawyer since the previous one I had been working with had retired. I decided to work with Cassandra Chin at Nichols Zauzig Sandler because she was direct and straightforward. I believed she would do her best to support me legally after my initial consultation with her. Cassandra was informative, concise and effective in guiding me to what available options were on my case. She advised me when options were not going to have a high chance of success as well as took the time to support my schedule and to be flexible in meetings that were important to my case. I highly Recommend her as both an ethical lawyer and highly professional for anyone in need of a good lawyer. Having worked with 4 different lawyers prior to being referred to Nichols Zauzig Sandler I can say that there are definitely some BAD lawyers out there. You will not find a bad one at NZS. I only wish I had found them earlier as I'm confident that my case would have resolved itself sooner and more efficiently.

Why were you looking for a lawyer and why did you choose Nichols Zauzig Sandler over other attorneys? - Divorce and custody. I went through a long drawn out divorce from someone who was using the court system as a weapon to bully me. He made it clear early on he did not want to settle, he wanted to fight. My first lawyer was dogmatic however very expensive and we didn't communicate well. We decided to part ways and both she and an attorney who I consulted with directed me to Cassandra Chin at NZS. They were well-regarded in Prince William County and considered strategic and "tenacious" in their approach. Cassandra specifically was consider to leave "no stone upturned" by her peers. I have a knack for details as well and believed me and my children would be in good hands which we were. What were some specific actions or ways we/I helped you? Cassandra and her assistant Renee greatly reduced my anxiety around the entire divorce process. I was in a David and Goliath fight with a rich ex and I had limited funds via maxing out credit cards. Every penny spent was spent on wise logical strategy. I always felt heard and working with them was like a partnership. They were also very candid and straight up with me even when I didn't want to hear some of the sobering realities of divorce and custody. Even the receptionist Darby was a shoulder to literally cry on at times and the other associates in the practice were devoted to what was best for me and my children. What else would you say to someone who was looking to hire Nichols Zauzig Sandler? I have already referred people to Cassandra and NZS. I know me and my children are in good hands until they become adults because of the handling of my case and the attention to detail in developing all of the custody and divorce agreements. I now have a fresh start at the second chapter of life with 90% of what I wanted based on my goals for divorce. I will tell anyone looking for high quality legal representation in Northern VA to stop looking and retain Cassandra Chin. I'm almost missing her and the team. They actually cared about me and my kids and were not focused on padding their own pocketbooks at our expense. A rarity in this field.

I’m going to keep this short but to the point. Mrs. Lenox did a awesome job with my case. In the beginning I was very nervous about my case but after speaking with her she assured me everything would be fine and it will be as smooth as gold. Well on the day of court I felt fine I wasn’t nervous and the court case went very fast and it was very simple. Ms. Lenox did all the talking on my behalf and it felt very comfortable it was almost like my second Mom so I would again like to thank Ms. Lenox for everything and if anyone is deciding if you should hire Ms. Lenox I would do it in a heartbeat. Everything will be simple and understanding.
